Shanghai'd — Restaurant in West Palm Beach

This place has a great location right off clematis the decor is very inviting being cozy & intimate.The DJ played some great music which added to the atmosphere. My biggest grip was the smell of weed while having dinner. I bought it to the waiters attention and he told me that there was a dispensary nearby and people walked by smoking weed. I just didn’t buy that. It was very a strong smell in the restaurant like somebody was smoking in the restaurant right by where we were eating, which kind of disrupted the whole atmosphere and the enjoyment of the food. Wow what an amazing new restaurant! I went with my husband and we enjoyed everything there - the food, the service and the atmosphere. They also serve very creative cocktails, my hubby had spicy cocktail from the menu and I had the cocktail named flight smth .. Mine had bitters and yuzu - so refreshing and not sweet just the way I like it. Alexandra, our waitress was great, she provided us with great suggestions about the food and was very friendly. This place is very cool. Food is mediocre American Asian food. The service was the worst. When we got here, the place wasn’t very busy. We were sat with no menu’s. We were quickly brought water and then our server disappeared. Just as we were about to leave 15 minutes later, the waiter finally came back to take our order. Food came out very fast which was a plus. Then the waiter disappeared and did not come back. I saw him a few times hanging out near the bar. Not waiting on drinks but just looking at his phone.
