JuiceLand — Restaurant in West University Place

Customer service definitely needs some work!! I Came here Sunday 6/15 at 12:20pm: I walked in and saw 3 employees (1 guy, 2 women) making orders. This was my first time at this location so I stood there for a second and noticed one of the girls and the guys turn around to look at me..no one was by the register so I kept looking at the menu! I then walked to the cold fridge and started looking at the shots when two caucasian males came in and EVERYONE greeted them!! All of a sudden there were “hello’s, welcome in’s and hi’s” from all of them and the guy who turned around and saw me just less than a minute prior came to the register to help them! I instantly caught it and absolutely made sure to show it on my face. I had made a detour to come here but usually when this happens I just walk out! To greet a group of people while ignoring someone who was already in your store that you saw walk in before them and say NOTHING is extremely rude! I won’t say it was based on race since the two girls in the back were black but it was definitely something!! I’ll stick to the other location from now on but please note that first impressions are everything and this makes me not only want to not patronize Juiceland but also...

We were craving some smoothies/juices, so we decided to stop by here today and try it out (we've never been here before).

The parking lot was kind of small, considering that this juice place is combined with a yoga spot. There was a cute little window spot for pictures, which I liked. I'm definitely coming back to take a pic for my dog here! When I first stepped inside, there was a musty/gym smell (guessing from the yoga section). I get the idea behind the yoga thing.. it's also enabling the people who do yoga to drink sugary drinks before/during/after their workouts (although its fruits, but it's also high in sugar).

The room was also very warm, I'm surprised because usually juicing places are cold-cool. The pricing is moderate, comparing to other juice area it's pretty affordable. Similar to Jamba Juice but this place is better.

I ordered The Moderator (apple, lemon, beet, and ginger) $4.95 small size. I liked it, you could definitely taste the apple, beet, and lemon... not much of the ginger. I'll come back to try new things...

My husband and I have been going here for years. Typically when we go we buy all of their Everything Bars and there has not been an issue until today. Today we went in and there were ZERO on display. My husband asked the employee if they had any in the back and he told her if they did he wanted all of them. She brought back 10. He then repeated he wanted the entire box. She returned with the box and we counted them. There was a total of 74 bars. She then called her manager to get approval to sell the stock they have for sale. The manager decides we can only buy 60. I asked why we aren’t allowed to buy the products you have for purchase? The response was because then they didn’t order enough. Ummm ok. They weren’t even out on display for sale. We came in and wanted wasn’t even available for others to even know was an option. We ultimately decided not to purchase any of them. This particular location will no longer profit from...
