Buddy's Burgers, Breasts & Fries — Restaurant in West Whiteland Township

we were driving by and had the craving for a burger and this option came up on Google Maps. without knowing much about it I had no expectations but was happily surprised by the various menu selections and welcoming service! menus don't have to be big and having a diverse menu with a wide selection of options is a much stronger selling point! I went for the spicy burger while my wife went for the more traditional cheese burger and of course some fries~ after placing our order we found a seat and just as I was wondering if it was time to walk back to the register an employee brought out our lunch! great service and employees 👏! the burgers were great. the patties were not overcooked and the buns were warm, sauces were good~ unfortunately the fries were a little disappointing. according to the menu they are hand cut fries which can be inconsistent in length but in this batch they were all short and a little skinny. I think because of the shorter size they lost moisture very quickly while blanching and yielded wrinkly fries. they tasted ok but a little lacking. with yummy burgers and good service I would recommend this burger joint and look forward...

I loved the food at this place when I moved to Exton a couple of years back and would order from here at least 1-2 weekly. The communication and SOPs they have in place are piss-poor.

I can confidently say that 50% of the time I ordered from here, they forgot something in order or just got it wrong, EVEN AFTER calling to remind them…Have proper SOPs on your platforms so customers can personalize their orders or have someone else manage the phones.

I’m usually an understanding person when it comes to human error, which is why I chose to keep ordering over the years. However, the final straw for me was when I ordered my usual salad and called them to tell them not to add pork to it, etc. Their phones were disconnected for 20 minutes while my order was being made incorrectly. Highly annoying, but whatever…. I finally got through to them and was told that my order already left; they weren’t willing to remake it for me free of charge on their end. I don’t appreciate how my situation was handled, given I have been a returning customer...

I went to Buddy's with my son and grandson. My son and I got burgers and my grandson got a chicken sandwich. We also got two orders of fries. First the good news - the burgers were great, although a bit greasy. I don't mind a greasy burger but that turns off some people. Unfortunately, the fries weren't so good. They were mostly little, short fragments and way over cooked. My son suggested that we got the bottom of the fry bucket. As for the chicken sandwich, which was grilled, not fried, my grandson wouldn't eat it. So my son and I each tried some of it. It was okay but pretty dry. Definitely needed some sauce or mayo. Service and atmosphere were both pretty average for a burger place so I gave Buddy's three stars for both (average). I wavered between three and four stars for the rating and finally opted to be generous and go four stars because of the burgers.
