I'm not sure what all these people are whining about, I have been coming to this place as a kid and I am 31 now, never ever had a problem. They are always fast and food is always fresh. There have been a handful of times it was a little slower out of all the years I have been coming. People seem to forget the fact that this is fast food and not a 4 star restaurant. They also seem to forget that sometimes people quit or call of leaving them short handed. Also, as in any corporately ran establishment, corporate sets the amount of hours that are allowed for management to work with as far as scheduling and the amount of allowed employees at a time. No one on store level including the manager has say over how many hours are allowed or amount of employees on a shift. I'm not quite sure why that is so hard for people to understand. Yelling at someone at the location will do no good, if anything it will make them not want to serve you or give you crappy service. I can speak from experience since I have 15+ years in customer service and after working for many corporations. Conducting yourself as a respectful, polite citizen goes a long ways and you will have no problems 9.5 out of 10 times when you are polite. Usually what you say is not the issue, it is how you say it. If you have a problem that is corporate level you call them and complain. Corporate does not care if employees call and complain, they take customer complaints directly from the customer way more seriously. This should be common sense! If you are looking for an upscale sit down restaurant then go to crocker park, not Wendy's. Another thing, this location has always had one cash register inside, it has been that way the 31 years I have been coming, so I'm not quite sure why that is news to so many people. Lunch rush is always busy, as in any other fast food restaurant. Even when there line at the drive thru is backed up to almost the street, I have my food and am on my way within 10 minutes. Read moreOrdered pickup, placed the order 30 minutes before arriving. When I arrived the cashier, (an older woman who's name I did not catch) bluntly told me "I don't have it". Confused, I asked what she meant and she told me it wasn't ready/had not been started yet. A bit frustrated I told her it had been 30 minutes since I placed the order online and was told, "it doesn't matter, it comes in when it comes in". During this whole exchange there was no apology or even any words spoken that sounded like she understood how someone could be understandably frustrated their order was not ready at a fast food establishment 30 minutes after the order was placed.
After receiving my order I opened the bag to confirm everything I ordered was included. It was not. I brought the bag back to the counter and at this point quite frustrated informed the cashier of the missing items. She proceeded to blame me rushing the order for the missing item and angrily re-packed the bag with the correct order.
I understand a busy lunch hour can be frustrating and I typically don't complain about staff as I know the order not being printed is really not their fault, just a poorly designed online ordering system. However, the attitude and blaming the customer when an item in the order is missing is completely unacceptable service. Read moreGot in line at 11:39pm knowing they close at 12. 7 cars in front of us we are like ok I mean it can’t take more than 60-90 seconds per order start to finish (well it shouldn’t). First car was at the order window for SEVEN minutes. Next car, 4. Finally we are next in line and it’s 11:59. I called several times and let it ring 20 times each and no answer. I wanted to make sure I wasn’t sitting in a line for 20 min only to be turned away bc it’s going to be past 12 when we order. So this just happened. We got to the order thing at 1159. They turn the lights off and came over the speaker and said sorry we’re closed.
I said ma’am we’ve been in line since 1139 and she did not respond I said ma’am!! several times still no answer but I know she heard me because when we pulled up, the car behind us went to order sndd she told them they were closed. So why on earth did she ignore me?? I just wasted 15 min driving there, 20 min in line only to be turned away??? My teen was starving after his double header. And Ong I’m fuming.
Unacceptable. I will be contacting corporate. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had with fast food.
