Update after-COVID era visit 04/2022: The place is still the same, albeit busier. We had a reservation and we still had to wait about 15 minutes before being seated. It's a hibachi so they always try to fill the tables before seating you then if all tables are occupied, they can't just kick customers out so there will be a wait. Also only so many chefs to go around. They have signs at the hostess table to let you know about all the rules and even warn you that a reservation does guarantee a table but there may be a wait still. I posted pictures of them so people know what's up. The food is as good as it was. Waiter was the only down side as once he took our original order, we had several instances of drinks going empty and not checking back up but that place was slammed so it's understandable as many places struggle to find workers. So be warned of that as well. The portions are good, meats tasted good as well as vegetables. Finally this place is opened. Please, before you head out that way, I strongly suggest you make a reservation. They are crazy buzy and popular. Been waiting since last spring for this place to open and they finally did. They were apparently waiting on some final paperwork to be able to open. Food is fresh and cooked in front of you, hibachi style. They can even spice your meat selection for you, garlic or even El Diablo (spicy). They also have a great sushi selection as well as wine. It's fun for the family and kids will be mesmerized by the show the chefs display. Now mind you they still have some kinks to iron out. The wait staff is still learning the trade and they have new chefs. So be patient. But do not hesitate to ask questions. The hours are not really definitive as they are still trying to figure those but I was told they will be opened everyday from 10ish am till 9 pm. I'd recommend calling first to be sure of the hours and also to get a reservation.

Dirty, Very Dirty Floor was very greasy and disgusting all the way out the door. Windows all greasy, dusty and dirty. The habachi grill next to us has to have a broken ventilation unit because omg the smoke made our whole table choke non stop. That is the habachi grill closest to the door. My kids were all choking and it bothered my 12 year olds eyes turning them bright red. Sharing a meal adds $5 to any plate!!! Expect to pay $22 and up for habachi. Son ordered Sushi and it was just ok, King Soopers does it better. Our chef was friendly and fun he was the only upside. Went for a birthday dinner with a party of 6. Sat with two other parties. Automatic gratuity for parties 6 and more. Disgustingly DIRTY. I understand the type of cooking it may get greasy but baseboards to ceiling, looks like they have never cleaned, when this should be part of a consistent routine. Unsanitary for sure. Disappointed. Anyone care about quality control and cleanliness in this place???? Shut it down clean top to bottom, re paint and fix what’s broken on the ventilation and grills. It’s absolutely dreadful. I mean it’s not like you’re not making the money to up keep and clean way more often. Stars are only for the cook not the establishment. Our Cook was 5 ⭐️.

I Have been to this location multiple times in the past. The service is never the best, but usually, the food makes up for it. They were pretty busy, which is expected, didn't take long for them to sit us down. After they're sitting us down, bringing us water and taking our orders which all happened pretty quickly. The server was never to be seen again. The chef came out with our food, but we never received the salad nor soup. I asked the chef if they were no longer doing that, and he said he would remind the server, and he was just busy. The cook started to prepare the food on the cooktop. Everything that could go wrong did. He was missing items from his tray, so went back to the kitchen, but left the food on the stove. By the time he returned the bottom of the vegetables were completely burnt. The rice was crisp on one side, and the stakes that had been put on the grill were burnt on one side. He continued to cook.He then served the rice first. He gave the people on the other side extra rice. But forgot my second order of rice and never even served the person with me rice at all. I told him that he forgot to serve her rice. And I was missing my second rice. He now left the table again. Went back to the kitchen and was gone for at least 5 minutes. If not longer with the food still on the grill. When he came back, one of the other customers made a statement and said, are you going to flip the scallops? He said, those are not yours, so don't worry about them. They were mine and sadly burnt to a crisp. He then served the food off the grill. Distributed the stake throughout the customers. He did not evenly distribute the stake, so one customer was left with no stake. She made a statement and again he. Left to go to the kitchen to get another steak with food.Still on the grill. After about two hours of sitting at the table me and my partner have now received all of our food which was all burnt the steakThe scallops, the veggies, the noodles and the rice was hard due to overcooking. I asked the waiter for the manager, which he said he would get. After waiting about 15 minutes, I got up to use the restroom. Seen the waiter, and he said the manager was coming. After returning to the table, the manager still never came. I walked up to the front desk and asked for the manager again. Thank you, they walked to the back and said he would be out shortly. At this point I had not ate, but a few bites of my food. Due to all of it, tasting burnt and was very unsatisfied. Walked to the front. They said they would give me thirty percent off which I denied and told them.I would like to speak to the manager once again. He tried to force me to pay with a 30% discount and then stated the Manager is not coming out. I told them he can come out, and we can talk about this or i'm leaving and not paying. He walked to the back, came back and said, i'm sorry there's nothing I can do they are not coming out. I then left the restaurant. This is the worst experience I have had here. The waiter was horrible and everything was burnt. It was not completely the chef's fault. The waiter told him no multiple times when he asked for things and was forced to leave to get his own Supplies, food. So it was a combination of people everyone at the restaurant, not working together. I get and understand being understaffed, but they should not have sat every single table. Full of people if they were not able to properly serve and just had a longer wait time. After past issues at this same location, I will never be returning to this restaurant i will not recommend. We were not the only people at the table to have any issue. A mother and daughter also did not pay and the family sitting next to us.Now had an issue and also requested some kind of discount. Everyone at the table was.Unhappy with the experience...

Let me start by saying that if i could i would give 0 stars. This place has been a go to for all my family gatherings and was a personal favorite. But as of lately ( this year) food quality and service has left much to desire and i would rather drive the extra distance to the mt fuji in denver. I ordered my usual 2 combos of new york steak hibachi dinners with substitution to chicken fried rice ($3.99 upgrade) and diablo sauce ($2), so i paid extra to receive two order with same upgrades. So i picked up my order and i got home and found 1 order of chicken fried rice to be missing, both orders of diablo sauce. So i called restaurant and asked for a refund for items i did not receive which to me seemed reasonable but manager was trying to offer me what i was missing for “next time i order food there”. Yeah like there will be a next time. I shut that option down and asked for a refund for said items and was told they couldn't do that since i went through beyond menu. So i talked to beyond menu and asked for a refund on missing items ( 1 chk fried rice, 2 diablo sauces $5.99) and the tip ($8) i left, which totaled up to $15.99 which i only received 13.99) no biggie at this point i took what i could get but, not only did they try and rip me off on 16 bucks, the steak was well done and so dry, that we did not bother eating more than half of the steak. And the noodles were overcooked/breaking and we received 2 containers of a liquid apparently their soup with none of the dry ingredients that give the soup flavor. I honestly had never bothered leaving negative reviews for restaurants because im usually grateful enough to be blessed with another meal but $76 for 2 steak entrees that i have nothing good to say about is ridiculous. If what we got today is their idea of acceptable food quality, then i will think twice before ordering food from there again. I can’t believe they looked at both steaks we were given, and said “yeah those look good , lets serve them.” All in all, this place had gone down hill and like i said i’d rather give another hibachi place a chance before i consider giving this place my business again. To go orders are treated like garbage and we were served garbage-quality food.

Edit: I’ve had hibachi here and there had not been a terrible incidence while dining in but my opinion on to go orders is still the same. Today I ordered 2 hibachi meals and the chicken I can say with certainty was not cooked well. Both of us are experiencing food poisoning symptoms and had to stop eating...

Tried to order over phone. Took approx 5 minutes to answer phone, once answered it seemed person didnt know anything of the menu and couldnt communicate due to poor english. Decided to attempt ordering by going in restaurant. Lady at front desk ignored me for 10 minutes give or take then told her i needed to put in an order and was asked "if i could hold on a minute and i will get to you", which was fine but seemed i got kept being ahoved aside and ignored. She was kinda helping people who had reservations as they came in if she wasnt working aimlessly as more and more people were getting frustrated. Also seemed to younger gentleman were just walking around micromanaging her whole time and was a complete mess in no time. Once everyone was seated she must've thought I was a glimpse of her imagination. Never aknowledged me for 5 min or so while absolutley nothing was going on. I personally didnt want to rush her or intrude on them figuring they had enough going on. So finally she sees me again and asks if i could hold on once again, I kindly told her yes and then about 15 separate couples and families came in. I figured, idk, maybe I can look at a menu or one of these other gentleman managing her can take my order it'd help her and your business, but seemed all the 2 younger guys and the younger hostess working up front didnt care about customers. I waited as those 15 people got seated and she saw me and asked if i could wait 1 more minute. About seven minutes later i decided to leave because the 2 grubhub and/or uber eats people asked hownmuch longer it was gonna be since theyd been there for 30 min or so i decided to leave. This was one of the poorest managed restaurants I've come across. Never felt so irrelevant as a paying customer for honestly overpriced mediocre food. I was there for Valentine's Day to pick up dinner for my girlfriend and I after work. Idk, maybe they didnt wamt to help because i wasnt dressed correctly. Lol. But I think i made best choice and recommend you all do same by not wasting your time at Mt Fuji and pick up some steaks and crab legs and cook them myself and not deal with...
