UPDATE: communication 0/10; they responded to my initial email, called me while I was working but I responded saying I felt more comfortable discussing a resolution via email (I want written proof of our conversation and there is nothing wrong with that), and they’ve gone back to being radio silent. I have 4-5 lashes left on EACH eye. I know this is primarily a hair salon - I can’t speak on their hair services, but I do not not not recommend this location for lash services.
Richelle was great, friendly, and professional and took her time on my eyelashes. However, two days later, the eyelashes on my left eye started to fall out at a significantly faster rate than my right eye. My right eye looks great, and I understand lash extensions naturally fall out but shortly after I got them done, it looks like I've had them for two weeks and need a fill. I've had lashes before and have not had this issue. When I got home after my appointment, even my fiancé said it looked like the lashes on my left did not look very 'secure' or 'on there'. Again, Richelle is wonderful but I'm not satisfied with the service she provided. I've included photos with time stamps. My appointment was this past Friday, (10/4) at 1:00 pm, the first photo was taken this same day around 3:40 pm. The next photo was taken two days later, Sunday, around 6pm, then, the last photo, the same day at 10:30 pm after washing my face, drying the lashes, and fluffing them with a spoolie.
I emailed Carson & Co. Salon with my concern, with included pictures, and asked if I'd be able to come in so they could fix my left eye's lashes. I've not heard a response. And while I understand getting responses take a minute, I know they have plenty of people in the salon to monitor emails at least, considering there were three people up at the front desk when I paid & left my appointment. At this point, I'd just like a partial refund but I'm not sure I'll get that if I can't even get an...
Read moreI don’t know where to start. But first - Jessica is a hair GENIUS. I cannot even look at the before photo anymore - but had to share so you could see the pure magic. Jessica has this incredible ability to listen to your vision, look through any photos, discuss what your goals are and then she confidently communicates the plan and executes flawlessly. Not many stylists can interpret layman’s terms “I want it like my natural color, leave my roots so it can grow out but also blonde - and for cut - I know it’s super damaged but please don’t chop all my hair off!” And she did exactly that! Also another rare quality about Jessica - if you show her photos she will be completely honest if she can execute that in one session or if you need to build up to that! How many times have you brought a photo to a stylist and they are like, ok sure! And your hair does not turn out at all like the pic... Not Jessica - she even asked mid session if it’s ok to deviate from the pic a bit and do more “beige” instead of going so “ashy” - I said absolutely!! (The third pic is the inspo pic for reference - this is the closest I have I ever gotten to an inspo pic!) So incredibly happy with my brand new hair - never have I ever had an experience like this and I’ve been getting my hair highlighted / colored for 20+ years!! And the Carson & Co salon has a beautiful aesthetic - the owner herself checked me in and offered me a beverage. Talk about strong leadership style! I almost stayed longer to work from the salon - but figured I didn’t want to overstay my welcome! Lol - but I will absolutely be back. Book with Jessica asap if you need your...
Read moreI never do reviews, but had to for this. I went in for a cut and highlight and it lasted 5 hours and looks nothing like I requested. Halfway through my stylists’s assistant started toning my hair (which I think is where things went wrong) not sure if they’re licensed or what their qualifications are? They pulled my hair so rough when brushing while it was being toned and the chairs are so close you’re basically touching the person next to you. I told the stylist I didn’t want what I got and instead of offering to fix it or apologizing she just blamed me. She cut my hair uneven and I had to point out it was uneven and she agreed she cut it uneven. A stylist who I was paying $230 didn’t even realized she cut my hair uneven…I was left at the washing station for close to 2 hours and my head started burning and my hair is damaged. White pieces have fallen out. I was offered a bond build at the beginning and I was told it would just get my ends brighter and wasn’t told if I didn’t get it, it would fry my hair. It kills me I paid $230 for my experience. I’m going to a different salon to get my hair treated for damage and recut. I read terrible reviews before my appointment but gave it a chance. The other stylists seemed to be at least nicer than mine was. Such a waste of time and money. Lesson learned!
*added another picture in the light..went in for light and bright highlights and came...
