The place was pretty busy, but we had counted on that and we're actually seated more quickly than I thought could have been. It was a bit loud, but as I said, it was busy, so that was pretty expected as well. Our server was great! I was the last in the group to arrive but she came over quite quickly to greet me and take my drink order. She was also patient when we needed just a bit more time to decide on our good order. I had one of their mimosas and I was actually VERY disappointed in it! Especially for the cost! If there was any champagne in it, it was completely flat, the flavored liquor that was supposed to be in it was also virtually nonexistent in both fruity flavor and alcohol. So essentially, I got an extremely expensive orange juice (which also wasn't high quality) in a fancy glass. I had heard so many people that loved their drinks! So it was either a very extremely bad bartender or.... Or I should never have listened to the people who had raved about them. I had intended on having more than one drink with brunch, but ended up wishing I hadn't ordered one at all. The food was pretty good! And it came in a good amount of time for how busy they were. Overall, I did think it was overpriced for the quality though. And again, I wondered why so many people highly recommend this place. The best part of the whole experience was the way you pay for your meal! They have a little tablet your thing that they hand you. It was so extremely easy to pick the things I ordered in order to split the tab. Then it gave you tons of different options for tips. They had different percentages, round to the nearest dollar, or type in your own. Super convenient and I didn't have to pull out my calculator since I'm not good at math. As soon as you have split the check and added your tip, you can pay with your card right on the tablet! It then gives you options for a printed receipt, have it emailed to you, or just forget about it all together. It was by far the coolest way to pay your bill! Although I still feel like it was not worth the amount I paid for the whole experience. The staff was wonderful though! And that makes a...
Read moreMultiple issues, last time we ordered the family meal, I was shocked at how much food we had. It dictated how much we ordered this time but this time we only got four pancakes and a few slices of bacon. I don’t understand the inconsistency, last time we over ordered because we were unaware of how much food came with the family meal and this time we under ordered. Pretty frustrating.
Second issue, We had to place our to go order over the phone because the app was not working again. When I arrived to the restaurant I went in to check on the order, they said they were just wrapping up and would bring it out to my car. Verified my car. After sitting in my car for 15 minutes I came back in the restaurant to see what the holdup was. Of course, when I walked in the food sitting there getting cold. They asked if I got a text I said no, they acted like I was crazy and the girl that told me she would bring it out to my car looked at me like a deer in headlights. You would think after year of this they would have it figured out but apparently not. I think the most frustrating part was the lack of concern, no one said sorry or owned the mistake.
I have picked up from this snooze and Westminster Promenade snooze many times since the pandemic. This is clearly a management issue, the promenade never has this problem, their system works extremely smoothly. This place needs to get it together. I wish the orchard was not the closest one to me, but I guess I’ll just continue to drive more out of my way if I want snooze again. I’m done giving this location chances, their a disaster when it comes to this, Just look at all of their one star reviews, they’re all in regards to take out. The fact that management does not see these reviews and take action to fix the problem says it all. The only reason I’m writing such a long review and reading other peoples one stars reviews is because now my foods warming up in the oven while making me continue to wait regardless that I waited for it in the parking lot for 15 minutes....
Read moreSnooze is normally great, but last Sunday was dreadful. We wish we would have had a different server. I don't remember how to spell his name but the waiter with the beard and curly hair pulled up in a hand bun was terrible. He couldn't bring people's drinks in a considerate manner and kept forgetting to bring them. He was too busy flirting with another waitress that was keeping him from doing his job. We had to prompt him multiple times which isn't normal. We've always had great service at all Snooze locations except for him and the staff bringing out the food. I don't believe that our waiter put my wife's allergies in as the staff that brought out the food just gave it out without saying the allergy plate. It's one of the two at fault here. He was then annoyed that my wife asked if he put her plate in as allergies and gave a bunch of attitude to go check. He also took the plate in back with him and I wouldn't put it above him to have spit in the food. There were plenty of other servers working hard and picking up his slack. The tallest server was absolutely great caring about his tables and cleaning them up his and our waiter's tables. We wish we would have had him. Normally the manager comes up to you and makes sure that your food was great but he was too busy on his tablet updating tables. The manager and server usually comes to the allergy plate (at any restaurant but above and beyond at Snooze normally) and makes sure that it was right, none of that was done. My wife was not comfortable eating and luckily it seems to have been done right by the cook staff as she did not wind up in the hospital. This restaurant needs some training to get back to Snooze's values as certain employees/management are not giving it to...
