I would like to complain about a store manager name Makayo and her coordinator name Maria. On Sunday Oct 20th, 2019 around 3.27pm we were shopping at 14265 Orchard Parkway Init 200, Westminster CO. We went to the cash register together because we were using one shopping cart. My friend bought this nice Under Armor cooler for her nephew birthday in December . The cashier also the coordinator Maria asked my friend it’s ok to put other items inside the cooler so I told Maria that she should put the cooler in a bag for my friend because it suppose to be a gift and it not good to have it get dirty inside the trunk. We found out that the store do not have large bags for item like this so I got irritated. I asked Maria if I could speak to the store manager. When Makayo came out she told me that the store don’t have big bags so I told her that she should prepare for things like this because customers don’t always buy small items. Yes I was irritated with her answer because she was rude and unapologetic. I told her there is no excuse because she is a store manager so she started belligerent and get confrontational with me by saying that she going to remove me from the store. I told her that someone should tell her to do her job. She kept threatening to remove me from the store. I told her that I am good paying customer and she has no right to remove me. I am not cursing or belittle her just telling her to do her job and got irritated for her and her coordinator told my friend to toss the cooler into the trunk like that. It is a birthday gift for her nephew. That’s why I got irritated. Your store manager MAKAYO acted very unbecoming, she was very confrontational and belligerent to me. Today I had the most uncomfortable experience at TJ maxx and it’s really sad because I shop at this store ever since I moved to Westminster 6 years ago, I witnessed a team member being treated horribly by what appears to be a manger. There was a (lady customer) talking to that girl employee about her calling corporate. I felt so bad and I told my friend to record the incident. I will be back to the store to ask that girl if anything was done about it. If not I will turn in the recording over to corporate, nobody should be humiliated and mistreated at there workplace!!!
