Studio Café — Restaurant in Westport

If your looking for good energy don’t come here. Besides the fact that there was a hair in our food. Dirty gold spoons and the Server puts her fingers around rim of glass when serving waters at our table. She also Sent me back to my car with my water cup because she said I was not allowed to have it in the store! She even refused to allow me to put it into one of their cups. We didn’t leave because although I felt it was unreasonable we hoped the ambience and rest of the experience would make up for it but the level of service and lack of hygiene was overall disappointing. The hostess explained that they don’t actually have a kitchen so they’re washing and warming up things behind a counter which limits them quite a bit. But I can deal with anything even dirty spoons as long as there’s good customer service. Our server was just not flexible, moody, and unwilling to accommodate any of our needs as customers. So don’t come here if you have dietary restrictions or special needs. This is my second time visiting this place and the first time I figured it was just a bad day but now I see it’s their standard. Maybe they get away with it because they’re in Westport and they have their priority clients idk. But long story short, I’ll stick with terrain cafe which is near by because it’s beautifulllll and the service is...

This place is awesome! Scott, the owner, is such a nice guy! Went there to meet my daughter for coffee after a long early morning drive up from NJ. Just found it in a google search. While waiting for my daughter, I got to have a really nice conversation with Scott about books, movies, and Netflix shows. He then informed me that he was the owner and took the time to show me around his design room, even though it wasn't open yet. Super nice guy! When my daughter got there, we went to order coffee. The barista was great! I wasn't sure what to order so I told her I wanted something mocha and minty. She made my daughter and I delicious mocha lattes with peppermint. So yummy! Wish I had more time to spend there, definitely would've had another one! Thank you Scott for the tour and the great company while I was waiting! I went here after a workout to have brunch. No one greeted us when we walked in so we just stood there for 5 minutes now knowing if we could sit anywhere or if we had to be seated. It took us 10 minutes to get a chai latte and an orange juice. I asked if it came sweet, she said yes, and the chai literally tasted like milk with cinnamon, but not sweet at all. There was so much cinnamon I was choking on my drink. The waitress was not knowledgeable about the menu. Currently writing this in the granola bar parking lot because I left here starving after getting a yogurt bowl and a side of scramble eggs.
