I recently had the pleasure of visiting the newly opened Bruster's Ice Cream in our area during their soft opening, and I must say, it was an incredible experience. Despite it being a training period for the employees, they did an amazing job, and their dedication to providing excellent service was evident from the moment I stepped to the counter.
First and foremost, the flavors at Bruster's are out of this world! I consider myself quite the ice cream connoisseur, but Bruster's took my taste buds on a delightful journey. Each flavor I tried was a delicious masterpiece. From classic favorites like chocolate and vanilla to more adventurous choices, they had it all, and they were all incredibly creamy and flavorful.
What truly sets Bruster's apart, though, is their staff. The employees were not only friendly but also incredibly accommodating. They patiently answered all my questions about the flavors and made fantastic recommendations. They even let me sample a couple of flavors before making my final decision, which was greatly appreciated.
Overall, my visit to Bruster's Ice Cream during their soft opening was a delightful treat. The combination of exceptional flavors, friendly staff, and generous portions left me thoroughly impressed. However, after tonight I’m not sure. It was “customer appreciation night” and I made my usual request to have the orders with a cup and a cone so I can take the cones home to my family (they’re all hooked like I said), and I had to pull the teeth from the franchise owner to not charge me $1.50 extra! He was quite rude with me. Not sure if it was a misunderstanding, since this was a normal request that has never been an issue before. You try to juggle three cones while driving home, mister!
I’ll tell you, this customer did not feel appreciated. To add insult to injury, the franchise owner’s friends were visiting and he was being extremely friendly with them, even showing them next door to the pizza shop he also apparently owns. I guess some customers are more appreciated...
Read moreBeen coming here for a while, generally great experience but today they fell short. They did not make one of the orders right and handed a cone to me, two cups and one cone was ordered. The person with me was the one that ordered the cone and the top flavor was in both our orders so we thought nothing more of it. He started eating it and s few minutes later the rest of the order was ready and we were handed another cone and a cup. I express my confusion as we already got handed a cone and the person with me was eating it. We realized he was handed my order in a cone ( I ordered mine in a cup) and instead of admitting a mistake and fixing it. She seemed uninterested in making it correctly and went about her way. I get it's busy, but this is not good...
