Bubba's 33 — Restaurant in Wichita

Great service and great food. We had the buffalo chicken sandwich with the hot buffalo sauce and the sunshine burger with an over easy egg. Both with fire fries. Our waitress was very attentive and polite.

Dropping my review due to a more recent experience. We visited bubba's 33 to celebrate 2 birthdays in the family on Saturday, October 12. I called at 550pm to do a call ahead as there were going to be 20 of us. We arrived at 630 and only had to wait a few mins to be seated. Our drink orders were taken promptly but that is where the good service stopped. We were sat a 2 tables next to each other. The 1st table's food orders were taken then the server disappeared. About 15 mins later a different server came and took the order of the 2nd table. The 1st table received their food about 5 mins later (just moments after the 2nd table's orders were taken). By the time the 2nd table received their food, the 1st table was finished eating. At the 2nd table my family member ordered a kids mac and cheese but did not come out with their order. The mac and cheese arrived over 10 mins later, after everyone else was finished eating. Additionally, we had to hunt down our server to ask for sauces that we asked for when we placed our order that were not brought out with the food. Not 1 time did the server come to refill anyone's water/drinks from either table. The 2nd table received their tickets before they were done eating, all while the 1st table still had not received their tickets. After the 1st table finally received their tickets, there were 2 tickets messed up (mine and my brother's) and the server could not seem to get them correct after multiple tries. At this point everyone else in our party had paid and left while we were still trying to get our tickets corrected. We were at the restaurant for over 2 hours and will definitely not be celebrating with a large party at this location again. Everyone in our party was very frustrated at the service we received for such a large party. I have also 'contacted' bubba's on their webpage regarding my frustrations a week ago and have yet to hear...

05/17/24 ☆☆☆☆☆ THIS time was MUCH better. Food was excellent, and our server was a doll..so kind and always smiling. I hope we have her again next time.

06/22 ☆☆ The food was great as usual, server (Marissa) needs to relax. Felt like she was pushing us out the door 10 minutes after we got our food...stopping every 5 minutes asking if we were ok...I'd say yes, we're good for now thanks. Then she made a point to put the ticket in the middle of the table (as if silently saying ok, here's your ticket you can go now) and then came back 5 minutes later to ask if we needed anything else again I said we were ok. We were trying to enjoy our lunch and it's like she was in a rush to leave or something. She brought our to go boxes for our leftovers and then just kept asking if we needed anything else. I kept saying we were fine.. I asked for a to go cup for my ice tea (tea that I had to ask for from another person) which she forgot..asked a second time for the cup and she said "oh ok, didn't know if you really wanted it" ...hmm, guess my asking for one indicated what? We finally gave up and put our food in boxes and left. Guess that "legendary service" needs some work. Guess we'll stick to curbside pick up from now on. Oh and there were plenty of open tables, they didn't have to turn the tables quickly..no lines (after lunch rush) so there wasn't any reason to rush us out the door. Needless to say, her tip was a little lower than it...

Dinner starter off well but our attendant (and i say attendant with all due respect) was too busy on her phone and flirting with the waiter serving the table next to us to care about serving our table. She did not pay any attention to the questions we asked. She screwed up the salad order and gave mine to my son and then ran off. Only to bring his salad out later and serve it to him as well. Then when she was finally not busy and stood at the table long enough for us to try to get a word in edgewise she became verbally offensive toward me for explaining to my husband how the salads got screwed up. She became verbally offensive yet again and said "Yeah thats what i thought" and then preceeded to walk off again and I asked for the manager and she ran off again. I explained to the manager that if I am coming to their resturant to spend at the very least $100.00 on six people that there is no reason for the belligerent attitude and verbal offenses from her and that I wanted a entirely different waitress. The manager sent Day to our table to take over she was very gracious and handled the rest of the meal at our table with ease. Day was amazing for the rest of our meal and I made sure she was tipped very well. We will ask for Day when we return. Food was delicious as usual. All thanks to the manager I believe her...
