All atmosphere and terrible food; OK service by a seasonal staff. The good: the layout, the decor, the ocean breeze are all befitting a boardwalk restaurant. The menu looks quite appetizing. The bad: the food. To be fair, people are likely coming here to drink frozen margaritas and don't care if the calamari is fried from frozen and tastes like rubber, but most of the food was unpalatable. The crab cake I ordered was reheated to a tepid 200 degrees or so. Fries and quesadillas had virtually no flavor but for the dusting of Old Bay on the fries. It was a bit like having COVID, when I couldn't taste anything. We literally watched a delivery of commercial-grade frozen food being wheeled into restaurant storage while we ate, ready for reheating. As a bonus we watched a couple get into a big fight. The woman stormed off and dishes broke. The man stayed and ate. The fight must have been bad. It takes a lot to want to stay and eat this food. Over $60 with tip. That was the real insult.

I was looking forward to dining at this location but unfortunately the food wasn’t up to par. It was mediocre, nothing too special and with that being sad, our server (I forget his name) was not attentive and very forgetful. The person I dined with asked for a Pepsi and he brought out a Sprite?? So we asked for the Pepsi and it was flat. Then I asked what whether or not the chicken on the salad was fried or grilled since the menu didn’t specify and he said grilled but it came out fried. Like how does a server not know their own menu? Once again, I had asked for vinaigrette with my salad and he brought out blue cheese, I was really confused since we observed him just chatting with his coworkers and we were the only table he had. Will give this place another go, but will most definitely ask for a server with experience.

The most impressive thing about this place was the view. We went during the barefoot country music festival so it was a great spot on the 2nd floor balcony overlooking the festival grounds. The tables were reserved after 5pm so we had less than an hour to eat and drink before we were required to leave. We got the island nachos which were disappointing. They had queso, a few olives, tomatoes and like 5 little pieces of onion. We expected a lot more topping… and it was all lumped in the middle so the outside tortilla chips were bare and dry. We split the crab Mac n cheese which was good but it needed some flavor to it so we asked for a side of old bay which made it perfect! Service was decent. She wanted to bring us our check before we even finished eating and was on the slower side for requests.

There are TONS of great places to eat at the Jersey Shore. This place IS NOT one of them. We asked to sit inside, assuming it would be cooler than outside. We were seated upstairs and it was hot! Looked through the menu and decided on drinks. No waitress. Kept looking through the menu and decided on an appetizer. Still no waitress. Kept looking through the menu and decided on our entres. Still no waitress. After about 15 minutes (and that's a long time to wait to place a drink order) we went downstairs and out to the bar area outside. It was cooler out there. The waitress actually showed up. I ordered a Blue Hawaiian. Tasty drink but not strong. Since I didn't catch a buzz off the first, I begrudgingly (and I say that because of the price) ordered a second. Still no buzz. My husband had 2 CoronaRitas and was very happy with them. We ordered the buffalo chicken nachos. There was no kick to the buffalo sauce. Absolutely lousy. My husband got the Mediterranean salad and was pleased (not too hard to mess that one up). My son got the 5 mile panini and said it was good. I got the blackened tuna (it's a sandwich with a tuna steak). The tuna was WAY over cooked. The menu said cooked to medium, which is even too well done for tuna in my opinion. It was not cooked to medium. It was cooked to well. Yuck! Tuna should be medium rare (or rare! Yum!! Sashimi!). It was SO overly seasoned with Okd Bay that I had to scrape off the back of the steak just to eat it, which I could barely manage. Our meals came with crinkle fries that were more bland than fries that come with school lunch. Then the bill. 4 drinks, 1 app, 3 sandwiches came to a whopping $109! I don't mind paying good money for a great meal, or even a good meal but I was so disappointed that I regretted not stopping for a $1 slice of pizza a couple blocks down (it's actually really good). Horrible service (inside anyway), lousy food, and...

The atmosphere was awesome. Live music was really great. Not sure who was working the bar last night but the fishbowl was awful. And we had to send the classic margarita back. The 2nd one wasn’t much better. I opted for a lemonade at that point. 2 people at my table got the caronarita which they liked but buyer beware it was a $25 drink. We didn’t know until the bill came. The crab dip, crab cakes and crabby Mac n cheese was very very very fishy. Nobody at the table could finish those. They were actually pretty gross tasting and we were concerned with food poisoning because of how fishy they were. The kids Mac n cheese was al dente and the cheese grainy. But my kid ate it. The other wouldn’t touch it and just ate the green beans off my husbands plate. The crab cakes came with no tarter sauce. I got the chicken quesadillas which were ok but didn’t come with anything but fries. Had to ask for sour cream. Another adult at our table got the Buffalo chicken nachos. Not spicy and looked like it was microwaved to melt the cheese. We did get the guacamole and that was very good. Too spicy for the kids but the adults liked it. The waitress was nice. They’re understaffed so they are busting their humps. Not sure what was going on behind the scenes but I went to the ladies room and there was a waitress in the last stall crying. I felt so bad for her. In the end we thought dinner was gross and will not return. Buyer beware they charge a fee to use your credit card even if it’s your bank card. Our bill before tip was $95 and the other couple with us their bill was $126 before tip. We don’t mind spending that much on a good meal but this time it...

My friends and I are down on vacation and wanted to enjoy a nice lunch together. We came in for a late lunch and some drinks. We sat down and scanned the menus with everything picked out once our server came over to “greet” us. The server, Courtney, came over and poorly greeted us. We ordered drinks a mojito and fish bowl. I have a allergy to pineapple juice so we asked if it could be replaced with cranberry juice because we have had it there before. She rudely remarked, “I do not think they will taste good” so we nicely said, “oh we have had it before and loved it.” She brings the drinks back and the mojito was made with basil instead of mint but she never came to see how the drinks were so we were not able to tell her how they were. The food came out and everything was good but needed some extra condiments and the waitress never came to see how the food was so I had to find her ask for those things. Keep in mind, we sat and watched her check on the tables around us and walked straight past us, several times. After we finished our meal and drinks we were ready to pay and she was no where in sight, again. I went to find her and ask for the check but when I did she had a attitude and a slight eye roll before getting it for me. We had really been looking forward to a nice lunch and unfortunately the service...
