Johnny Scoops — Restaurant in Wildwood

The only ice cream shop on the boardwalk that advertises vegan ice cream options. My wife and I are IN LOVE with their vegan vanilla ice cream. She thinks it has a bit of a buttery flavor, I think it's more of a maple-- either way, it's some of the richest ice cream I've ever tasted AND their rainbow sprinkles and waffle cones are vegan, too! So we get to have the whole boardwalk ice cream experience after we hit the beach!

We haven't tried it yet, but they also have floats where flavors range from cotton candy, to orange, to root beer, and none of their sodas have high fructose corn syrup.

Johnny is such a nice guy, very friendly, always cheery, and is respectful and kind to his customers. During our first trip to Johnny Scoops both him and his wife walked us through all of our ice cream options and along the way I also learned that all of their products are locally sourced and that Johnny is a veteran.

The two younger ladies who also work there are equally warm and smiley. The only thing sweeter than their treats are their customer service.

In the picture provided, it's 2 scoops of ice cream and was pretty shareable between to people. It's about $7.

Do you have pups? Because they have pup cups, too. They also have sugar free and gluten...

Visited Johnny Scoops for ice cream with my sister and little ones yesterday 08/27/25. We were greeted by such an amazing man who had such a happy demeanor and he was so sweet to my little ones. We were able to choose from so many flavors and he had just released new flavors. Everything that we had was very delicious but what made it better was the excellent service that we received throughout the whole transaction. There was a smile on his face the whole time and honestly, not many vendors on the boardwalk are nearly as personable as he is. We 100% will go back there again. I hope that many people come here for their ice cream bc of the great service and ice cream at excellent prices…compared to many other places on the boardwalk. The size of the scoops are big too. Definitely stop by if you’re on the boardwalk bc you will not be disappointed. It definitely feels like a small business and I’m so happy to...

Anytime I’m in Wildwood, I always have to Johnny Scoops on the Wildwood boardwalk! When you visit, you will be blown away by their incredible ice cream and coffee offerings. It's clear that they use only the best, premium quality ingredients in their shop, resulting in some of the most delicious and indulgent ice cream I've ever tasted. Plus their homemade waffle mix makes one of the best waffles and ice cream in town! And now, they also offer coffee, which is just as good!

What makes this place even more special is the family that owns and operates it. They are incredible people who clearly have a passion for what they do, and it shows in every aspect of their business. Plus, as a veteran-owned and operated small business, I am proud to support them.
