Let me start out positive and would like to give some constructive criticism. I was so happy to see the new Restaurant. It is beautiful and has enormous potential. They had a singer on stage at the time we walked in who was fantastic, however, his microphone was so loud the servers could not hear the customers and the customers could not hear the servers, which made it difficult to order or receive food. We sat for about 15 -20 minutes before we were given menus and offered to order drinks. Our food came out all at once which is why I think we waited about 40 minutes for it. The people around us had eaten, drank and left before we even got our food. (Most of who came in about 20 minutes after us and larger parties) Another disappointment was the Sangria. We ordered a pitcher at $41 plus dollars. We were brought a pitcher of ice and given a under $10 bottle of Sangria to pour into the pitcher ourselves. Sad to say we were hoping for house-made sangria which we understand not everywhere offers, however, giving us a $10 bottle of Sangria for $41 is just taking advantage of your patrons. I hope that management addresses patrons suggestions and try to improve the restaurant. My hope is that this restaurant and all the businesses in WW flourish. This restaurant has great potential just needs a bit more effort. Sad to say I will not be giving it another chance...

I was really disappointed by this restaurant. The ambience is great but the food was not. This is not real Mexican food…. The “salsa” was a tomato sauce basically…. clearly store bought, not freshly made diced tomato salsa like you’d expect in actual Mexican cuisine. The pico de gallo was also store bought and tasted disgusting. The chicken fajita I got consisted of shredded chicken! And didn’t come with any sour cream, beans, or salsa. I was honestly shocked at the amount of store bought ingredients being used and the fact none of our dishes came with fresh salsa - just some sort of tomato sauce replacement that’s clearly a time and cost saver for the restaurant.

It was really disappointing especially having a 4.6 rating on google, I can only wonder if these reviews are all bought?! The margarita was terrible as well! My partner is convinced it was store bought margarita mix and the proportions were off when they mixed it - given how much of the rest of our meal was store bought and not freshly made, I think he’s probably right. Really disappointed and confused as to why this restaurant has gotten good reviews in the past…. I would avoid if you know anything about Mexican food, you’ll be VERY...

Wow! Where to begin. I rarely leave reviews of any kind, but felt like l needed to on this. I had high hopes for this place. First, our server, Veronica, was great and interactive. She did her best with our party of eight. The first problem was the order of wings: they were hot on the outside, but inside were cold to the touch and not cooked thoroughly. The street corn is literally a cob cut in two. Good, but overpriced and under-portioned. Then a few fajitas came out. Normally, fajitas are sizzling, still smoking, and the skillet CANNOT be touched. This was not the case. The skillet was warm, fajitas just barely what they were supposed to be...sizzling. We were told the cold wings would be removed from the bill, but weren't. BEWARE: the floor is slippery. We literally watched a waiter slip and fall with a full tray of dishes. There was no manager on site the night we were there. IMO, won't be back. And between uncooked wings, slippery floors, and lack of management, this place won't...

As my family and another table said, don’t go past the bar. Food was good but they messed up an order, didn’t provide silverware when food was handed out, had to ask, and service was pretty slow. There was no one at the waiting stand up front and took a few minutes before anyone came up to greet us and told us we had a wait. We thankfully seated at the bar for a bit until our table was ready. Also want to make aware of the air conditioning. The water kept dripping on me and it looked like a few other people were getting dripped on as well, probably not sanitary… overall it’s beautiful in there and the mango margarita I had was pretty good! There were a few big groups of people inside too. They also have a stage that was beautiful as well. Great on the big detail, but restaurant could focus on small details as well. Music was kind of loud but was moderate enough but you’d have to raise your voice a bit so others can hear you.

Ever eat Mexican food and feel like you’re going to explode afterward, or like the food is so heavy you’d sink to the bottom of a pool? Not here. La Cantina nails it — everything was flavorful, fresh, and surprisingly light without drowning in grease or sauce. We had the chicken nachos (absolutely amazing — loaded but still crisp), steak fajitas, chicken fajitas, and the birria tacos. Every single dish was top tier. The portions were generous, the seasoning was on point, and you could actually taste the quality of the ingredients. If you want Mexican food that’s both satisfying and doesn’t weigh you down, this is the spot. Highly recommend and definitely a place I’ll be returning to. 🌮🔥

La Cantina in Wildwood is seriously such a vibe. The second I walked in, I was obsessed with the décor—it’s so pretty and full of character. The colors, the lighting, the whole setup just feels really fun but still cozy. It’s one of those places where you want to take a million pictures but also just hang out and chill. And the margaritas? So good. Super fresh, not too sweet, and just strong enough. I tried one of their flavored ones and now I’m mad I didn’t try more. 😂 If you’re in Wildwood and want good drinks in a cool spot, this place is definitely worth it.
