La Cava's — Restaurant in Wildwood

On 7/20/2018 Friday We visited Wildwood for some family time. It was Dinner time and we decided we would grab some cheesesteak and fries along with some other items. When it was all said and done the bill came to $71.60. We immediately reported back to the counter and ask them to explain why we were charged that much money and didn't get a receipt along with this order. The person at the counter started to shuffle around and became very nervous he even offered more food which we declined. After nervously shuffling around he came back to the counter with a hand written receipt with no numbers or total. We stated to him this is unacceptable and that we would get the police involved if he didn't produce a proper receipt. He once again shuffled around and finally produced receipt however it was still handwritten this time with the totals next to each item. We then inspected the receipt against the menu they had displayed and each total given was 5 to 20 cents over the original price which means we were overcharged for every item on the menu. These people are a bunch of scammers and very dishonest and on top of that the Food was absolutely disgusting. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS. We are consulting with our bank currently in...

I went here with two friends of mine. I got chicken tenders and a drink and my friend got just nachos and a drink . When asked if I wanted fries I said no . My total was $15.50. My friend’s total was $16.50 . For nachos and a drink it came to $16.50 . Not only were the chips stale , the cheese was horrible and practically inedible. My friend unfortunately ended up tossing it away . I only got 3 freaking tenders . $15.50 for 3 tenders are you serious ? Not to mention if you’re paying card there’s an extra charge which I’ve never ever had at any other place on the board walk . And last but not least their policy of , if a seagull were to smack your food out of your hands it’s not their problem and they don’t owe you anything if it happens cause it isn’t their fault . Worst place ever. Was charged $24 for 3 empanadas what a scam $8 each. Am puertorican and this place horrible it’s the most expensive empanadas I’ve bought in my life. Got one of each chicken beef and spinach. My spinach one was still cold not cooked inside at all told them and they refused my refund or to give me a fresh cooked worm one.
