Snow White — Restaurant in Wildwood

Unsanitary and Unfriendly. Worst place to watch at the board walk. Unsettling, especially during the time of a pandemic.

My Family and I stopped here for a meal after our drive to Wildwood’s boardwalk. We spent a lot of money on food (for 7 people). Payment was required first, then we sat down at our booth. As we are waiting for our food we can see the cook isn’t wearing any gloves, but that isn’t even the major issue. We are watching him eating from our order from out of the frying basket. Licking his fingers and placing them back in to grab more. Then taking shrimps for our order out of the freezer, with the same hands he just finished licking, and placing it in the oil to fry.

When we approached the women who charged us for the food and asked for a refund, she stated she couldn’t and then proceeded to smirk and ask why? Once we informed her why, she just continued to smirk, while stating that she could not process a refund. After my mother asked for a manager, she pointed us towards his direction.

The manager was of no help either. When informed of the situation he just stated the same thing and directed us to his boss (the cook).

So we spoke with the cook and express the issues and our concerns and they still refused to give us a refund. The cook/manager stated that it didn’t matter because the food was being cooked and would “be disinfected then”.

At this point we asked for the owners number or email address and they provided decided to provide us the phone number to the restaurant.

We were unable to get a refund, as they refused, and they basically packed our food expressing that we were no longer welcome there.

We didn’t even eat the food with the concern for what we saw.

This place is a nightmare and is completely filled with money guzzling ignorant...

My family and I decided to eat here, WORST mistake of our lives. As we were purchasing our food we had asked for a cup of ajou for my moms roast beef sandwich and I got a hotdog. As we were waiting for our food I had noticed no one was wearing gloves at all. The man even took someones order, dealt with money and went straight to cooking again. This is a big issue with Covid-19 being a big factor in the world today and its not sanitary at all for anyone to do! My mom and I were standing there in disgust as we watched them make my hotdog. The guy dumped the pan of grease onto the hotdog as he was placing the sauerkraut. THEN 15 minutes go by and my mom still has yet to receive her roast beef sandwich. We ask the guy about how much longer and he goes, “I’ve been calling this order multiple times.” and then proceeds to grab a roast beef sandwich thats been sitting there for awhile. One, he lied because we had been standing not even 5 ft from the counter... we obviously would have heard our order being called. Two, there was no cheese on the sandwich and we had not received the ajou that we asked for at the register. When we asked about the cheese he slapped two THICK chunks on the sandwich that looked like it hadn't even been cut. Then they told us they would not be able to give us a cup of ajou, contradicting what we were told at the register! To make matters worse after my mom received her sandwich it was cold from sitting so long and they refused to make a new sandwich! After all that, we just wanted our money back to eat elsewhere and the guy pointed to a sign stating “all sales final.” This my friends, is why we will never...

SIMPLY HORRIBLE SERVICE BY THE OWNER OR MANAGER.....

THE GUY HAD NO RESPECT FOR CUSTOMER NOR HIS OWN EMPLOYEES!! The guy in mid-50s in age with glasses.... didn't even give name.... and said company policy is that it is my responsibility to make sure the order is correct... well, how?? Until is made...you can't tell until it is served....

And... cash only so straight into his pocket money???...

We ordered a whole pizza with two toppings. The cashier rang up in error as half pizza with toppings and half plain. Receipt didn't say half at all, so you wouldn't question it....

Pizza comes out, noted inaccurate order. Asked the guy to correct it, and the guy just blamed us and the cashier for not having order correct. And said he can't do anything about it. After 10 15 mins of back and foth, he asked for toppings money so he could put toppings on top of already cooked pizza!! Or recook the cooked pizza again... Really???

On the other hand, the cashier and waitresses were extremely apologizing and were ready to pay from her pocket to make the order right...

Feel sorry for them to work for or with this kind of totally irresponsible person who, for 3 bucks, threw his crew under the situation....

For us, $3 bucks wasn't the important thing, but how the cheating and blaming methods are being used there is the problem...
