Mr D's Pizzeria Steaks & Subs — Restaurant in Wildwood

Ordered cheese burger deluxe. Asked for it to be cooked medium. Order taker at counter said ok. Got the cheese burger cooked like leather and for some reason it was not very hot. Wife ordered a chicken cheese steak with mayo. She said sandwich was not very hot either I am sick of Complaining when things are NOT made correctly and I was very hungry for being on the beach since 8 AM so I just ate it. The French fries that came with my meal were good. Will not be back. They were not busy. Update. After I typed what happened, I asked To speak to the manager. The person who took our order at the front counter said she was the one in charge now —-I explain the situation to her not looking for anything but just letting her know how I felt about the meal and then I did post it on Facebook. Her response was that I ate it And it was my fault for not coming up and explaining what happened. I informed her with my restaurant experience she brought the food to our table and she should’ve known it was not madeThe way I had asked. The cook came over and did express some remorse and did offer some sort a refund but the order taker who said she was in charge told him no!!!!—-she was in charge and refused any kind of refund. What I don’t like is one minute being offered a refund of any kind and then being told no you can’t have anything. The order taker/manager did not care that I was posting this on Facebook. If you order from this place and it is not to your liking don’t expect any kind of refund or sympathy. They will just feed you whatever the way they want to feed you. I was also Told by the front counter/manager that she forgot to put on the receipt to cook the burger medium although I saw her write it on the receipt. They lie to...

You can look at my review history, I rarely leave bad reviews. For the first time in a long time, this experience has had me so frustrated, here I am. After 3 calls to the company that they use for online orders, our food was delivered 1h 45m after it was placed on a Wednesday night. I get it, things get busy, things happen. When we got our food, it was very clear it had been sitting and likely microwaved the chicken tenders or they had been sitting under a warmer too long because it was too tough to actually chew. We eat Jersey pizza regularly and know fresh pizza. the pizza is not fresh, it was definitely sitting for a long time. And it's disappointing because it tasted like it'd be pretty darn good if it was actually fresh. The part that led me to this review is that we called and asked for a refund because we really couldn't eat our food. And we are very hungry. But instead, they contested that it was hot and fresh. I'd rather they just be honest that they got busy and instead of making us new food, they rushed it to try and get it to us since we had to call 3 times. Maybe this place is worth trying? From my experience, my food was late, inedible, and then I was lied...

I didn't go in, my husband did. But the slices are BIG and delicious. Especially the crust! Chef's kiss! Mwah! Edited to add that it is a breeze to order online and if you have a problem, you call Slice, they deal with the issue, if at all possible. No calling a busy restaurant, with people yelling in the background. Made changing pickup to delivery very easy. When the season here starts buzzing, that is a great feature! Edited to add: Last night I used Slice to order a pizza. We had supposedly won a free pizza from Slice for ordering frequently. The app was not user friendly. I ordered 2 pizzas so had to call Slice to cancel one. First I get an email saying alls good, but after waiting for too long, I checked my email. It said Mr D's didn't fill my order. So we just sat there hungry. Now it was 9 pm. Real blunder. I canceled Slice and didn't love Mr D's anyway compared to the other pizza places, like Poppi's Brick Oven! That is my preferred, deliciously garlicky pizza!...
