We just bought a place last year around the corner from Mulligans. So excited and even more excited we were in walking distance. We frequented there for 10 month, enjoying good food drinks. It was our Friday night hot spot to go every weekend we came down. About a month ago, my friend and I go and ordered dinner at the bar, which was delicious!! We had some catching up to do as we have been out together for a while. In the midst of our laughter, Mike the bartender came over to me and told me to keep it down. I thought he was kidding.... with a stern face face he shook his his no, and told me again. I was mortified! I explained I was laughing and asked jokingly if we were in a church. He walked away. Needles to say we finished our drinks and left. After telling my husband about the ordeal, he was sure it was all a misunderstanding, and that Mike was probably just kidding. He wanted to go back the following Friday to verify. We went in, ordered our drinks. My husband begins to ask Mike about the ordeal and suggests to him to apologize to me, with me sitting right there, as we aren’t in a library. Mike tells him no, and states again his loud I was. I explained again that I was merely laughing... He said it again, a rear started tricking down my cheek as I felt embarrassed and confused, he walked away without saying anything more. Our drinks were not touched at all, we got up and left and haven’t been back since.. Now, we know all about the bar scene, as I have bartended in the past, and a family member owns a bar that we frequent at home. They insulted people that have been overly generous tippers and will not return to this establishment that we once loved!!! This was beyond rude,...
Read more1 star because of the rude and nasty service. Poor hostess was trying so hard to take care of our crew, but the person who seemed to be the manager appeared bothered that a big group showed up. After waiting over 20 mins for someone to come over, this woman came over and said "if your not ordering food, you need to get up." I told her we had been waiting for a server for a while, and she said rudely "no you haven't." We waited so long that most of us went to the bar to get our order in, to that she also gave us grief saying we couldn't do that. So which one was it? Could we not get served at the table, or could we not order at the bar? We had kids with us who were hungry, but this was the most important to her. We finally got a waitress and were able to order food. Because we were running out of time, we just dealt with this terribly rude service and still spent our money, but be sure, the service here was absolutely trash, and people should stay away. As for the food, the wings were terrible and the drinks were poorly made....
Read moreWent to the bar to watch one of the football games. Called ahead to make sure the game was on... staff said yes. There's no wait or sign that says please wait to be seated. We seat ourselves and a lady comes to us asking who sat us. I explained we sat ourselves and she rudely stated well there's a hostess now and you can't seat yourselves. She tells me twice my empty can of red bull Is not permitted there (I heard her the first time) I explained we were there to solely watch the game on 1 of the 2 tvs it was on and we called ahead. She moved us and the game was on a TV far across the room where it could be barely seen on a 32 inch tv and not even on HD. Needless to say we left and could not even enjoy the game. Terrible interaction and...
