READ BEFORE GOING TO BE SAFE!! First off, this store rips you off. I went here to get a henna tattoo with a friend, as we had a "buy one, get one free henna tattoo (with a tattoo of equal or lesser value)" coupon that we found in a tourist booklet. We had mentioned that we had this prior to getting our tattoos, so they knew that's why we were both getting one. Well mine turned out to be $40, and my sister's, $35. They were already overpriced to begin with but when we mentioned the coupon to the cashier, he said show the artist. Well this time the artist tells us that it's invalid because it was on two seperate people and we didn't choose wall tattoos, even though they showed us a book of other options. We ended up paying the full $75 for two mediocre, small tattoos. Then, I found out that they used black henna. This henna is unnatural as it has the chemical PPD in it. As a result of using it on your skin, allergics reactions, hives, blisters, burns, and sometimes illnesses commonly occur. This was my second henna, and the first was natural, so I assumed this would be the same. It wasn't. Merely 3 days after, I broke out with many bumpy, itchy hives all over my body. I ended up have to remove my $40 henna tattoo less than half a week later. They failed to mention the type of henna, directions on what to do once you get it, and precautions. These people just want your money. It's...
Read moreLiterally the worst Henna experience I’ve ever seen. The artist was asked if he could accommodate the Henna (hand) tattoo my daughter selected. I swear, a second grader with a sharpie could have done better. Tried to charge me 50$ for some ridiculous mess. When I brought it to the front desk staffs attention she told me “I’ve seen worse”. She offered to take 20$ off, when all I wanted was her to remove it. The other sweet artist Caroline offered to fix it even though the front desk lady informed her she wouldn’t get commission. Caroline fixed it the best she could. (Believe me there wasn’t much to work with) we gave Caroline the 20$ they took off in her tip jar. We appreciate Caroline’s attempt to fix… I understand it’s hard to find help but YOU NEED TO BE HELP ACCOUNTABLE FOR THE PRODUCT YOU SELL!!! We let it dry for the entire ride home (2 hour). The product itself is garbage. It will be gone by tomorrow it’s so faint. Not like typical henna at all. First photo is from the “artist”, second is from the beautiful lady fixing (even the the front desk lady didn’t even offer), and then 2 hours later rinsing with water...
Read moreI would NOT recommend this place AT ALL. I have gotten my tragus pierced 3 times previously and had to take it out because of sports. I decided to get it repierced here and was fine because I know how they pierce it and the pain level. When we arrived the piercer did not have a mask on and seemed to be in a rush. It took him a total of 25 minutes to try and pierce my tragus and it was one of the most painful things I have ever felt. He was shaky, stabbed the inside of my ear with the needle and then continued to get mad at me because I got it pierced 3 times and was questioning why I would take it out which was none of his business. I was crying and ready to pass out because he definitely DID NOT use the right needle and the right technique to pierce this part of the ear. All in all I would recommend just getting a lobe piercing. I dont know if he was new but it was a horrible experience and I absolutely should have gotten a refund. I'd also like to mention the jewelry in my ear IS FOR A ROOK PIERCING!!!! its extremely thick and the exact same as what they use for a rook piercing. He should have his piercing...
