Not happy with this place. Food service was slow, burger had no flavor. Too expensive for cheap bar food. Manager was rude. Found out from the server that the chef quit and the chef from manayunk was takeing over and that the chef from manayunk let alot of the kitchen help go including a woman who was gone for a week due to the death of her son. I have no respect for a place like this will NEVER SUPPORT THEM. Imagine coming back to work after burying your son to find out the place you work for fired you while you were gone. HORRRIBLE!!!! The Rook Wildwood first night after their grand opening. Friday night… 50 min wait so we opted to sit at the bar. Ordered drinks and then food. Waited 35 + minutes and then food came out..COLD. Didn’t send it back because I didn’t want to wait another 35 min. I totally understand they are still tweaking out the newness. Our bartender only asked if we needed more beverage. My only MAIN complaint…I felt like I was I in a cafeteria! It was so LOUD no conversations to enjoy. Couldn’t wait to leave because the noise level was horrible! Hopefully next time...

Dinner 8-23. Need better management. Water glasses were dirty and didn’t use, server arrived about 10 mins, we placed drink order, a runner delivered drinks in about 5 mins. Finished drinks, no server to place meal order. Asked hostess to place order, server returned, placed order had cutlet sandwich, not worth $18, try local sandwich shop for $12.
