We searched online for great seafood spots in Wildwood and this place popped up right away. At first, we were a bit hesitant due to the limited reviews, but after realizing they were fairly new, we decided to give them a call. The woman who answered was incredibly patient with my husband's many questions (seriously like 5 of them). Since it was just after Labor Day aka post-Benny season, as my brother likes to say, they were able to have them steam our order in house within an hour.

Down the Shores Steamers is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, the service was warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The seafood was incredibly fresh and cooked to perfection — the crab legs were sweet and juicy, the shrimp perfectly seasoned, and the corn and potatoes were the ideal complement to the meal.

This place is awesome! We ordered a crab cake, spinach salad and a chicken bacon ranch grilled cheese! The crab cake has no filler and was hands down the best I ever had!!! The chicken breast grilled cheese was enough for two people to share. The sour dough bread added to the delicious flavor. The chicken was tender and the sandwich was excellent. Lastly the spinach salad with feta, craisins, and walnuts was delicious. If I am in North Wildwood again I will definitely come back! We ate in and the staff was so attentive.
