WORST FOOD and CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!
I ordered fried chicken from this shop. The chicken pieces are overly fried, with no batter, and are very dry. In the menu, it was mentioned as "four pieces of fried chicken with french fries, coleslaw, and pickles". The order did not contain what was in the menu saying they do not have everything mentioned in the menu, but charged full. Four pieces of chicken include wings pieces, which was not mentioned in the menu as 'wings'. This is very deceiving.
After informing the staff, they called the manager. A mid-age lady with spectacles, calling herself as the "manager", did not even attempt to listen to the customer complaint about the bad food quality. Instead of being reasonable, she kept arguing and said "buy from another place, she won't refund", " this is how they provide food, if do not want don't consume", " She cannot help for the food quality, that is their standard quality" and many more. Her behavior surprised me as I have never encountered such a situation in the country until now. It is very arrogant, ignorant, rude and disappointing.
Even though the other manager checked and agreed to add proper pieces of chicken instead wings, she said " I am the manager here not him, you cannot have anything better than that. We do have a regular standard, and this is what you get". She also claimed it as half a chicken, which even she had not idea about her statement. She kept arguing in a very rude manner over 20 minutes. This was a very pathetic situation and the worst customer treatment ever noticed.
Later the other manager offered a proper meal for what we paid, and solved the situation.
DO NOT BUY from this shop, and from the lady in the shop. you will not get what you pay for. Don't get fooled...
Read moreHorrible experience! I ordered a simple American hoagie platter and 2 bottled sodas. Women said take a seat inside and we will call when order is ready. You have to go back outside on boardwalk to get your order, strange when there is counter access in seating area. She hands me a styrofoam container and no drinks. Ok maybe a mistake but it wasn’t busy, I had to show her my receipt. I opened container at table and hoagie is a roll loaded with lettuce and some tomatoes. I open up the roll and it has a slice of cheese in each half and NO meat! Take sandwich back up and she has to explain to the guy what goes on an American hoagie! 10 minutes later i go back up because I can’t wait no longer and she asks guy where’s the American hoagie? He says it’s done as he wraps it up. She walks away and I have to wait a while before I get her attention to get my sandwich. The sandwich had square cut slithers of ham, salami and cheese loaded with lettuce and some tomatoes to make it appear thick! Not like a Russo’s hoagie in N. wildwood, loaded with meat! Basically tasted a roll with lettuce! Other patrons complained about service and size of their orders. There was only 5 tables with people, mostly couples in the afternoon. Everybody was shaking their heads about food and service. Older Male employee , looked like owner or manager, was screaming continuously “ I need Tomatoes and lettuce” as your trying to hold a conversation waiting relentlessly for order. I usually don’t leave reviews and just won’t go back but I needed to because I threw the sandwich out! I was there a half hour before I finally got sandwich and wasn’t going to waste more of my day arguing about it. 2 bottles of soda for $18 is all I got. NEVER again will I go back to...
Read moreDo not be fooled by the 4.4 stars like we were. We should’ve known there was a reason it was practically empty in comparison to other places. Was craving a classic Italian sausage peppers and onions hoagie. Ordered 2 sausage hoagies and 1 cheeseburger. All came with fries included. Total for all 3 was $55. Thats boardwalk pricing at its finest. I was hoping that for that price the food would be spectacular. I was highly disappointed. Here are the cons:
