First time experience last night. After a long day of work, my husband, friend, and I were craving sushi. The service was pretty subpar. The waitress was nice and tried her best, but seemed to be flying around and we couldn't get her attention no matter (almost like they were understaffed). There were two other attendants, who were grabbing our items the moment we scooped up the last bite and before we could speak, they were gone. They even took my husband and friend's menus after only appetizers were ordered (the waitress was informed not to, but someone else came and snatched them away and when we called to them they kept walking away). When I picked up the menu I kept to the side (I always keep a menu to the side, never know how hungry you are), a guy came over to take it. I shook my head and told him no I was still hungry and he sorta pursed his lips like he was expecting me to leave. The apps were good (especially the Fantasy Island, which actually tasted fresh), but the boat (I get a lover's boat at a lot of sushi places -- cost effective and filled with classics) was tough and tasted almost room temperature. Sashimi should always be chilled and should melt on your tongue; this did not. I couldn't even finish it it tasted so bad (the shrimp tempura it came with was okay, but my husband was the one to finish it because it was pretty underwhelming for me). The Fantasy Island was little cubes of raw fish and I'm not sure if those were cut last or what because they tasted really good and literally melted. The boat...waste of time, money, and effort. My husband and I were left unsatisfied. Our friend got fried rice, spicy tuna sushi and some hand rolls. He said the rice was delicious and the spicy tuna sushi was average, but that he was disappointed in the handrolls. He also said that his drink was immediately flat when he got it. We took some deserts home, which we ate after going somewhere else to be filled, and they were okay. The deserts were about $6 and were the type of pre-frozen/chilled deserts you get at a local supermarket; not bad, but nothing to write home about. The food and the atmosphere look great (the three of us thought our booth was a little uncomfortable to sit in though). But, if you're looking for pictures for your socials, this is 100% the place. The atmosphere gives a quality location, but the service (or at least mine) was hurry up, so I can seat the next person (we were seated immediately since we didn't want hibachi, so that's a plus). The price was no more or less than any other sushi place you'd go to in the Clarks Summit/Scranton/Wilkes Barre area. But, if you're looking for quality of food, I'd recommend go somewhere else. It could be that we went on a Friday night (we were there between 6:30PM and 7:45PM), but to me that's no excuse. Not interested in trying again. Oh. And you have to ask for a desert menu.

On the way to Gettysburg, we found this restaurant via the Yelp app. So we stopped for a late lunch. After the long drive, of course, we needed to eat. It’s a Japanese Hibachi restaurant that also offers some sushi dishes. So that’s what we ordered. I had the shrimp hibachi, and it was pretty good. I had it with vegetable fried rice. Hubby had shrimp and beef hibachi. The soup and salad were served with the entree. I had enough food, so we took it to go half of what we had ordered. Jing, our waitress, was excellent and attended to our table well. The portion was pretty big for the entree. The hibachi dish was delicious! It’s a big restaurant. It’s good for families and big groups as well. They have plenty of hibachi tables. Very nice!

I was seated at a table which was visibly dirty and felt sticky. I asked for it to be cleaned and the hostess obliged. After this, the wait staff asked what we wanted to drink. She ignored our 2 year old daughter, who actually did order water with lemon, and brought my wife and I water. Our salads came pretty quick, and when the edamae came, the girl slammed it on the table and quickly retreated. By this time I already needed a refill on my water. I waited about 30 minutes for our order of udon noodles to come out, and at that time my water was not refilled. I ate almost all of my hot soup, which left me wanting a nice cold water. A waitress walked aross the room to fill my cup, with warm, iceless water. Needless to say I asked for some ice. When I got the ice, it was in a cup that had visible black specks in the bottom. Overall, I am very...
