I used to love coming to this store. Nicole and Amber are the most wonderful people and are so real to their customers. Sadly the store consists of a few shoppers and mainly sellers. If you want a chance to get into the store and enjoy your shopping experience then I suggest don't even bother going. The security people now run the store instead of Nicole. Since they have taken over they assume they fixed all the issues Nicole was dealing with when really they made it much worse. Now the same people get in daily because they come with 3-4 people and switch numbers. People stand behind poles, cars, and in packs so nobody notices them doing so. Although shoppers in line are watching it all go down. How on earth these employees are turning a blind eye to this is beyond me. They can see what's going on and completely ignore it. Customers hand in multiple numbers and nobody cares they just give empty threats. How about throw them out for once to teach them a lesson? Nothing will ever be done to fix that issue. These same sellers think they're slick and getting away with cheating the system once again. There are people who don't get in everyday because the same selfish people have found a way to cheat the system and get in DAILY!!! This stores employees call the numbers extra slow now to fix the running issue. Instead all of this has caused nothing but more issues and made it the more unfair. I thought the numbers would help give people a chance but now it has made the sellers have even more of a chance. Lets not forget this is how they make their living so they will be extra aggressive but this is a whole new level. This is by far the WORST the store has ever been. Nicole ran things fairly and was always honest. These other people who come out now are not paying enough attention and people are just doing things to get in right in front of them!! I used to love coming to the store and seeing familiar faces. Nicole and her staff are wonderful. But sadly the new system is not. I am so disappointed in the way things are now. The thing is it's one thing to not get into the store because your number wasn't called but its another to watch people sneak their way inside by switching numbers. They leave their "extra" people outside and they come in. It's all a game to these greedy people and I truly hope someone can figure out a better idea. Because until the threats are no longer empty and they follow through with throwing people out then nobody will ever stop. The employees who call the numbers will NOT fix this issue. People don't care to listen to them and they have already gotten away with too much. Oh and forget the COVID-19 protocols. Now you can't hear your number even being called so people bunch up in groups. Social distancing is no longer a thing and when people start becoming sick you'll know why. At least the other system kept people separated. It's truly sad to see what a disaster this has turned into and how greedy these people are. So if you actually want a chance to get anything decent.. I suggest save your money and shop retail at Saks the actual store because you will stand no chance against these terrible people. Don't waste your...
Read moreBe aware of the actual prices that you are being charged at the checkout (and before you pay!). I had three dresses that were clearly labeled at $29.99 each. I had a number of items that I was purchasing and could not see on the register all of prices that were ringing up. Right after I paid, I looked at my receipt and noticed that I had paid an extra $130 for one of the dresses that was marked $29.99!!! When I immediately brought this to the attention of management, they told me that the tag had been switched out and that $29.99 was not the correct price (not by my action or fault), and that all sales were final! They would not give me a refund, only a store credit - which is useless - as I don't live in the area and I was told by management that this store is the only store of this kind, where you would be able to use a store credit (not at any of the regular /outlet stores, etc., - online or otherwise).
While it's unfortunate that there are dishonest people out there who ruin retail experiences for honest customers, customers should not have to be punished for the criminal activity of a few, as well as for issues that store management and crew need to watch out for, as well as remove incorrectly priced merchandise from the floor. From what I gathered from my conversation with management, this has been an ongoing issue at this location. Moreover, the tags / prices look legit - so the consumer would be none the wiser...
The young male cashier who waited on me was extremely rude to me and very unprofessional. After demanding to speak with the management (two ladies who were very helpful), they were able to rectify the situation to my satisfaction.
While I was excited to learn about and visit this store while I was in town, I am not sure if I will be back. I did purchase several nice items, but much of the merchandise was picked over or severely damaged. It appears that the staff get the best pick of the merchandise and the public is left with very little. This, coupled with the rude cashier and the overcharging on an item that was clearly marked as much less, makes shopping at this store less appealing.
As WB is so close to NYC, it may just be worth it to hoof it to NYC for the day and / or one of the outlet malls for designer bargains. I hope that this improves, as this area, many years ago, had a lot of great...
Read moreWe’ve been told that the process is random, yet we consistently see the same individuals getting access week after week. That doesn’t align with what a truly random system should look like. Despite numerous complaints from customers over time, there seemed to be little to no response until recently. While we’ve seen some short-term fixes put in place, these individuals continue to find ways to beat the system. Even though numbers are now pulled and confirmed by another AP member, it’s hard to ignore that the same “heavy hitters” are still getting in. They may not be the first few called, but they’re still consistently among the first 5 to 10. There’s now growing speculation that numbers might be distributed or known in advance. The idea that these exact numbers just “happen” to be drawn feels statistically impossible. As one customer put it: "You’d have a better chance of getting hit by a flying goat." We all want to know how these customers are getting access to these tickets in advance, or how they are coordinating with someone internally to make this happen. This leads many to believe that the person pulling the tickets may already have certain numbers separated in advance and mixing them with the first few pulled to give the appearance of fairness. Pulling a handful of tickets out of the bag can easily conceal the tickets. If that’s the case, it undermines the entire system and makes it feel like paying off AP staff is the only real way in. This is intentional manipulation and needs to be fully investigated, doubts will continue to grow and continue to frustrate customers. An easy fix would be to stop letting this person pull from the bag and call out the numbers. That alone would solve the problem. There’s also concern about the couple who regularly bring 7–8 family members. They have been openly seen switching tickets among themselves. The woman with the curly hair and her entire family are consistently in the top five, week after week. It’s hard to believe this is happening by chance, especially when the same faces are seen benefiting while others, who’ve been waiting patiently and fairly, are continually passed over. I really hope they fix this soon. I have a few weeks left before I go back to work. It would be great to actually get a few nice...
