Went today @1 pm. No one was in line ahead of us and a few people were seated and eating. The young woman at the front counter was rude. She seemed bothered that we were there and even more so when we questioned the menu. The online menu is very different than their actual menu. We ordered two pork carnita tacos and one carne asada taco, one elotes (corn on cob), chips and salsa, and one beer. $38.00!!! The tacos were small street tacos @4ā diameter and each taco had just two pieces of meat! The pork was chunks @1āx1ā and the carne asada were @1āx3āx 1/2ā thick. The toppings were sparse too. The only good thing was the flavor of the food. It was really tasty. The elote seasonings were spot on but it was served to me cold. The green salsa that was served with the chips was tasty. My guests and I were very disappointed. Iām visiting from Central Texas. I should have known better than to buy tacos...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWE GOT FOOD POISONING!!!! DO NOT EAT HERE!! My wife & I dropped into this place for lunch after exploring Colonial Williamsburg. We shared a plate of Nachos, and within a few hours, both of us became violently ill with vomiting and diarrhoea. Just the kind of thing you want before jumping on an International Flight for 25+ hours. This was the only plate of food we shared that day, so it was definitely their food & after reading other reviews of this placeā, they have here have reported experiences with food poisoning. Donāt eat here with their poor with poor food preparation & lack of hygiene standards. Someone needs to report them to the appropriate Health and Safety authorities Virginia, I would not want anyone to go through the same awful experience. This place should be shut down. (I believe this is where the food came from, but is in the same hall or owned by Precarious Beers, which I...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis small taqueria store front is located within Precarious Beer Project, and it's pretty great. The menu is not exactly extensive, but it has all the essentials for a taco joint, and it's all pretty delicious. You can find an array of snacks and entrees to choose from. The portions are generous, so take it one dish at a time. Clearly, the food pairs well with the beer; the ultimate advantage of an all under one roof operation. There is plenty of seating in the beer hall and things are kept nice and clean. They have outdoor seating as well on a patio with fire pits for cooler weather. There is also a wide variety of arcade games to keep kids (or adults) entertained, so you can chill out. The convenience to Colonial Williamsburg makes this an awesome spot to stop and grab a bite after soaking up some...
