Apexx Lounge — Restaurant in Wilmington

Nice spot but if you are use to a specific level of service...dont go! There was really only 1 waitress out of the 4 that seemed to know what she was doing. We had to ask for menus after being seated for a few mins. One girl looked around like nobody was trying to get her attention and only paid attention to really one table. Another waitress kept hanging around the corner of the bar smoking hooka every chance she got between waiting on tables. I have never been to a place that brings the check before the food. I got my beverage and was waiting on my fries. After 30 mins I reminded her and she said they will be right up, 10 mins later no fries so I stopped another lady and 5 mins later they came out. So yes it took them 45 mins to bring out an order of fries and no it was not packed in there. After the ladies in a booth next to us left then some young guy sat down and started smoking the rest of their hooka and one of the waitress sat down with him and started eating fries. Apparently the owner and co-owner sat at the bar drinking and smoking hooka all night. Just terrible. I was not...

I booked a table for brunch last Sunday with me, my best friend, and our moms for 12pm. Called the day before and made a reservation and everything. (They took my name and number down by the way!) We pull up for brunch and the doors were locked!! 🤦🏾‍♀️ no sign on the door. We were waiting for 10 minutes, even called them and no answer. We did not receive a call from them regarding our reservation. We ended up going to another brunch place. I DM’d them and the general manager K called me to apologize and offer dinner and drinks “on him” for us and our moms. We go there a few days later for the dinner & drinks “on him” and the bill came to 150 with a 50 dollar discount. His excuse was he could only do 50% off everything!! My mom’s food and our drinks weren’t even 50% off according to the receipt lmao. Total bill ended up being 130 because they added gratuity which was slow. I could go on and on. It was a mess as they didn’t honor their promise, converse with us regarding the inconvenience on Sunday, or give a damn about us being there....

If you give this place 5 stars you just glazing they are the absolute worst! My first time there when they first open they were ok! But I went there last night for my bday pre game and man it was terrible the bartender/server was terrible came to me and my girl table one time anything else we wanted we had fo go to the bar and order! Seem like she only wanted to serve her friends! Hookah took 30-40 mins mind you the place was dry as hell! The hookah wasn’t pulling like the tube had a hole in it I told the dude who hooked it up and he says I didn’t start it yet you gotta keep hitting it, like where’s your common sense bro! Back to the server so after 2 shots I tell my girl I’m ready to dip told the girl bring my check out, I pay her she brings the change back and sits there and waits for a tip but they get paid gratuity but I don’t mind tipping you just gotta be a good server I let her keep the little $4 change cause I got class but I will never be coming here again!
