Tavern Law 1832 — Restaurant in Wilmington

Went there on a night out and off the bat the vibes from the short, petite blonde haired bartender were terrible! She was rude and very unpleasant from the beginning. She made us one drink a piece and before we could even finish them she throws her hands in the air and yells “are u gonna tip me” in front of a whole crowd; Like she was obligated a tip. On top of that she doesn’t know her drinks, she made me an amaretto sour & it was AWFUL. Literally only put caption and sour mix, then Before even allowing us to finish & wait until we were done she wanted to assume we weren’t gonna tip her and made a scene. So we didn’t even finish our drinks and walked out. I will NEVER return to such a poorly mannered bar again & I definitely will let everyone I know not to come here. Especially when I had friends come from out of town just to experience her ill manners. Do better & act better and maybe you’d be tipped! She truly shouldn’t be working in customer service when...

Luckily the company and ballgame was better than the bar. Caution when you go here for a drink. The bartender not only ignores those that she doesn't know but either short pours or leaves the spirit out entirely. As a seasoned bartender I watch what I order and unfortunately the "bartender" repeatedly under-poured everything. You are paying for alcohol that you don't receive. I really enjoyed this place. First time coming in today and it was going to be a stop in for a drink and go to the next place. Four hours later and I’m still here. Sarah is such an awesome bartender. Super genuine. None of that fake BS. Bartenders definitely make a bar worth coming to and Sarah just made this my new favorite bar in Wilmington. This place is really well done inside as well. 3 dollar Jameson was a great deal.
