I'm going to put my review into a few sections.
This is the only Wendy's within a 20 mile radius so there are no other options in terms of Wendy's restaurants. I already have to drive around 10 minutes to get to this particular Wendy's.
I've been to this Wendy's three times since the renovations, which took a few months to complete. Apparently they only revamped the look and not what matters. I'm talking about the managers and staff. Whatever time of day I come here there is always a line around the restaurant due to the long wait times in the drive-thru. Going inside isn't much better. I went here for just a frosty and it took around 15 minutes to just get to the register. The cashier taking orders left the register to go make the customer's orders. I'm not sure if this Wendy's is understaffed or poorly trained, but it shows.
This is the most important point. Giving customers what they ordered. I went here today around a half an hour ago to try their Spicy Nuggets that just came back. I was reluctant to go here because I knew what I was getting myself into. I was ready for the long wait time no matter if I chose the drive-thru or if I walked inside. I was prepared for this and set my expectations to match. What do you know? It took around 15 minutes to get around to order. Again, I was prepared for this. I order and I should've been suspicious when I was told the total of my order. The price on the screen shows 6.49 for a Spicy Nugget combo meal. I was told my order was 8.49. That's on me and I should've questioned it, but I assumed prices may have changed and they just haven't updated the menu screen yet. I was wrong. I am 100% sure I said that I wanted the 10 Spicy Nugget meal, but what I received was NOT that. They thought I said Spicy BBQ Chicken. I did not know this until I drove 10 minutes home to enjoy some Spicy Nuggets. I open the bag and what do you know? It's not Spicy Nuggets. What's worse is they didn't even tell me what I ordered from the speaker to actually receiving the bag my meal was in. Not once did they confirm with me on my order.
I could easily blame all of this on the employees, but I know better. There is something bigger that's wrong with this Wendy's restaurant. I shouldn't have to expect a bad experience when going somewhere to get food. There need to be some changes to this Wendy's before I even think about going back to this one. A funny corporate Twitter can't save...
Read moreI ordered Wendy’s the other day and left shaking because of how terribly the manager spoke to me and treated me as a loyal and frequent customer. I held off on writing a review as I didn’t want my emotions to get the best of me. As you can CLEARLY see in the photo’s I provided I ordered my food for pick up through the drive thru on the app. I received it at 11:12 after having to walk inside for my food. I went through the drive thru as the app instructed me to and I was told I ordered for in-store multiple times and I have to come in because there’s no other way I’ll get my food apparently. I obviously did not order for in store pick up so I insisted that I had indeed ordered for it through the app to be picked up for drive thru. I had specifically done this because it was pouring rain, I just dyed my hair and didn’t want my color to run. I asked if I could show him my phone screen of the app, where I placed the order he refused to even look at my phone or help in any way and as I looked at my order I noticed it said it was picked up at 11:03 a time that I was not even at Wendy’s. Which also makes sense as to why my fries were freezing! 😂 I told him that my order was marked to have picked up already in addition to his blantantly incorrect claim of me ordering inside pickup. This lead to me being unable to cancel the order which angered me further because if I had to get soaked I wouldn’t have ordered it ahead of time if at all. I offered several opportunities for him to rectify the situation, he refused and chose to only escalated the situation by gaslighting me, belittling me, and outright refusing to provide service. My food was left on a rack in the lobby along with DoorDash food orders surrounding it. I will likely be boycotting this location until new management occurs. This was a heartbreaking decision as I’ve met some wonderful staff at this location during the days and as a local I carry a lot of cherished memories at this specific location with my late father as Wendy’s was his favorite fast food chain but this entire interaction left me shaking, angry, and heartbroken. I hope they find better people to represent this company. DO NOT go during the night hours if you want to still be treated with respect or receive a smile with your food (customer service will be lackluster if at...
Read moreOne word - TERRIBLE!!!!!!!! Went inside to place a carry out order. Put the order in fairly quickly and that's were it all ended. While waiting a half hour, went to fill my drink cup. Of course- the sweet tea is empty. Asked at the counter. Was told someone would make more. Surprise! No one did. After a half hour, went back to the counter to see what was taking so long. I showed the girl my receipt, and asked her where my order was. She asked the guy next to her,and he looked at the computer, and said it was already finished and done. I said how can it be done when I have the receipt right here in my hand. He took off and looked around at every other order around. Meanwhile everyone else working there was running around like they had no clue what to do. He finally comes back and grabs a bag that was sitting right on the counter and says " Here it is ! "." Here you go!" I looked at him and said, "now that it's been sitting here, everything's cold". He looked at me with a confused look and said " Oh, you want new fries?" . I asked the girl again, " Do you have more sweet tea?" She says " it's out there". I told her again, It's empty. She looked confused and walked away. I said the same thing to the other guy. He says " it's out there" . I told him also it's empty. He looks around and goes to the drive through window and asks if they have Sweet tea there?. They said yes. He filled the cup and gave it back to me with tea spilled all over. I had to leave there before I strangled someone. Was really looking forward to the reopening of a terrible store. Guess what? It hasn't changed at all. If anything it's worse. Like everyone else, if I could give it no...
