Papa Murphy's | Take 'N' Bake Pizza — Restaurant in Winona

Look, I'll preface this by admitting I like Papa Murphy's. Ever since my family and I moved here 6 years ago, we've been having a lot, so believe me when I say this: Whether due to poor management or logistical meltdowns, this place has swiftly spiraled down to garbage.

I'll start off by explaining that over time, probably due to change in management or something, they've been short on ingredients, having long wait times, and despite all this keeping a skeleton crew on hand.

So last Tuesday, we ordered a cowboy for 30 min pickup, I drive up to the window and the employee doesn't even let me speak before they're saying 'It will take a while, we're out of mushrooms.' I give my order specifics, type of pizza, online order, and name. They say wait, ask what I want to replace the mushrooms, and then don't even check the pickup where I see two pizzas. After like 20 min of waiting by the window, I give up go in, and the pizzas I could see since the start that looked like they could be mine were there, mushrooms and everything. Cool, pizza didn't at least taste like crap.

This time is different though. Our family's favorite is Chicken Garlic. Now, we LOVE this pizza, but they have somehow screwed it up so bad that I can barely tell the difference between it and a saltine cracker covered in white sauce and cheese with trace amounts of garlic. You used to be able to feel a punch from the garlic and toppings were dense enough you COULD NOT count them with your two hands for and INDIVIDUAL piece. I was so astonished I wanted to throw it in the trash, and even my dad's lack of distinctive taste couldn't tolerate the sheer lack of flavor. I think some of the toppings had even gone bad.

Look, we stuck with this restaurant because it served us well in the past and hoped they would at least clean up their act.

Clearly this isn't the case.

Do NOT give this business your money, they have only squandered ours.

And as an open note/letter, if you're the manager/owner/whatever. Quit or get fired, please. Hire competent staff, keep your logistics running, then maybe we'll consider coming back. For now, you're not deserving of our money or time due to how much you have...

When I called this place, the lead staff were absolutely rude and asking who's this because im deaf and using an interpreter with sign language for relay services. The lead staff which is a young woman, the interpreter can hear her cursing in the background very inappropriate. Unfortunately, they needs to be trained and respected to treat like everyone else. The reason is I called about the certificate from radio station and to order the pizza since not able to use online and asked some questions about can use specials from the online over the phone and all that she wasn't nice at all and told her I will come in and deal with order she change her attitude saying sorry about that and see you soon. So I came in and there was different person and took the order what I wanted from showing on my phone this young man did take care and prepared while I wait for about 10 minutes without any issues. I wish that the lead staff can just follow what I want on the phone and have it ready when I can be on the way and pick it up. So again, the management needs to train people better if even on phone with any interpreters using sign language for deaf people to able communicate with...

Thursday 9/1/22 I tried call to order a pizza at 7:30, thinking a 1/2hr should be enough time for them to make it. 3 phone calls go unanswered, all the while I'm getting my things and heading there. The 4th call is answered by some guy, who asks to put me on hold for a min, 3-4min later I get hung up on. Another 2 calls go unanswered, the 3rd call is picked up by a female, who also asks to put me on hold, and after a couple minutes of waiting I get hung up on again! Im nearly to the place at this time & its 7:46 and when I show up there is only a girl inside finishing cleaning with the lights off & she wouldn't acknowledge that I'm at the window! Then, a car pulls in the parking area, im in my car by the drive thru area, and someone inside must've motioned for the car to go around to the back, so I reverse to where I can see the back of the store & here the guy comes out to hand his buddy 2 free pizzas!
