Worst takeout experience ever. The manager actually tried to start a confrontation with me. Went in to pick up my online order tonight when the tracker said it was ready for pickup. Waited five minutes for someone to acknowledge me in an almost empty restaurant, even for a Wednesday night. Finally the young lady working the bar finished taking an order from the only person at the bar and came over to asked for the name on the order. She handed me my food, which had been behind the counter the whole time, and told me to check it first. This is when I realized my sirloin steakhouse salad had no steak on it. A guy came out of the kitchen and informed me they were out of steak and wanted to know of he could get me another meat. I asked him how long it would take to make me a piece of salmon and he said "five minutes or so" and I agreed to do that. He asked if I wanted another side or something and I declined as by now I am already a little aggravated that my girlfriends food is going to get cold. She also had salmon and it was a very small tail piece. Not what you would expect for $25 dollars a plate, but I digress. I preceded to wait ten minutes and started to debate asking to speak to the manager. It was at this time that what I can only assume was the manager came to the takeout register with what I think may have been a server or trainee. She was getting someone else a gift card for another customer complaint. With her back to me she asked if I had been helped so I said yes but my order was wrong. She said "what's wrong with it" so I told her and said it would have been nice to know before the order was completed. Instead of apologizing for the inconvenience She said "how we supposed to let you know" and I replied you could have called me. So she replies, very aggressively, "we don't have your number" and I said "I have received two text messages and an email since I placed the order". She rants "we can't see that from an online order. They have that number we don't have your number the online people have your number we don't have your number". I realize she could be right about that but it seems pretty ridiculous to me for them not to have a way of contacting the customer with questions or problems with the order. As i felt her starting to become very argumentative I put my hand up and said "I don't want to argue about it". At this point I just wanted my food without spit in it. She then turns back away from me and says "actually it's rude to throw your hand up at somebody". I did not respond anymore and stayed silent until receiving my order. Although during the additional five minute wait (that's about 20min. total additional wait) I debated how hard it would be to get a refund but realized it meant dealing with more of her attitude and I really don't want to go viral for throwing my food at her and getting into one of those fights you see on social media. I really think she would have driven me to that point and am almost positive she was the type of person to do something like that. I thanked the guy from the kitchen when he finally brought my piece of salmon out and left. Needless to say I will never come back to this restaurant, even if they offered...
Read moreYesterday was my birthday. My family had not been out together since my grandmother died 3 years ago. We were excited. I picked a place we had never been before. Should have walked away when i saw the lot was empty.Huge mistake. Had my sisters and brother in law at the bar like they couldnt have drinks at the table. Waiter and waitress were good except for the white girl that came through to assist but when asked to being something she made it clear she was just helping and not waiting our party. Olivia came by to ensure we knew her status and to let her know If we needed anything. She came back one more time to check on us but we never saw her again. I ordered a Pepsi. It tasted weird. My daughter agreed. I sent it back. The young lady came back and said her boss said there was something wrong with the line so she informed me that even though she selected regular Pepsi and not diet it might taste the same I said no thank you. She said do you even want to try it. I declined. My husband told her your boss is wrong for even telling you to come and say that. Just say you're out. Then I ordered mac and cheese balls. Disgusting. No flavor. I sent them back. One of my aunts ordered salad and soup combo. Salad came and she had ro ask where is the soup. Your menu shows soup in a bowl and when it came out in a regular bowl the waiter tried to say you have to ask for the bread bowl which is extra but he didn't exain it that way. Waited forever for ranch for my uncles wings. My mother waited forever for a burger that your waiter claimed all the burgers were waiting for fresh fries but she ordered onion rings. And my daughter had a burger with onion rings on the burger and as a side and my sister ordered he onion ring appetizer that came out with no problem. I ordered the sirloin and shrimp scampi scampi combo with mashed potatoes and asparagus. Potatoes were like a brick and asparagus was dry and the size of small tree twigs. Shrimp was swimming in a thin soupy concoction. I showed it to the waiter and said tell your cooks don't put something like this on a plate. He said yeah. At this point I'm embarrassed and ready to go. The burgers finally came out and I was asking for to go plates at the same time. Tried to eat my 6 Oz sirloin today and it was 4 oz of fat. Service good. Food was horrible. Will never...
Read moreOn 12/20/22 around 1:30pm we showed up with family from out of town to grab lunch. We were a party of four. Upon our arrival I noticed that there were two of three people waiting to be seated just inside the front doors, three men sitting at a table near the bar and one person sitting at the bar. We stood in the foyer area for a few minutes as one employee placed menus on a table near the bathrooms on the other side of the building. No other employees were visible at the time. The girl placing menus on the table, simply looked at us and continued, yet never acknowledged us verbally or otherwise. After waiting a few minutes a person in our party of four asked another employee who was standing at the far end of the bar, if we would be seated or should seat ourselves. She seemed to be annoyed by this, mumbled something and walked to the area we were standing. She grabbed menus and asked us to follow her. We were then seated in a booth near the bathrooms. Others had arrived since we were finally seated. The employee that seated us left us there and we sat waiting looking at the menu for several minutes. There were probably 15 people at most in the entire establishment and by no means busy. We waited approximately 10-15 minutes without being acknowledged whatsoever, no drink order.....nothing. We decided that we had been ignored long enough and got up and headed out. No employee spoke to us as we prepared to leave or on our way out. The only employee visible was waiting on a couple at a table near the doors. Overall it seemed as though we were absolutely bothering two of the employees (the first two we encountered). I could surely chalk it up to someone having a bad day. Despite this, it is no reason to treat us as I have explained. A simple acknowledgement would have went a long way! I should have read reviews before we went. In my opinion a 4/5 is average at best. I would give ZERO stars for a rating based on the staffs treatment of us. We picked this place based on the fact it was right outside where we happened to be shopping and wanted to try it.....we won't again. Try and do better...
