I've never heard of this place until I went to Winston-Salem mall and wandered in to see if any sugar free chocolates were there. Sure enough they are. I purchased two sugar free peanut butter cups. They are most definitely hand made because the size is pretty big. My advise is if you choose to eat sugar free chocolates, be aware of how much you eat. The sugar alcohols can upset your digestive tract and make you have tummy troubles for a while. This happens. So I saved the other one for later where I'll divide it up into servings. I'm not sure of the blend of sugar alcohols used in the chocolate, but it seems to be a lot. So that is something to be cautious about when eating from this store. I'm also not sure if the peanut butter used is actually sugar free or not. But it is smooth. There didn't seem to be any ingredients listed for the candies anywhere. The staff was only two people and one was a teenager who did not greet me or offer to help me much with choices in the store. No suggestions, no "what can I help you find?". Infact, he did not seem interested in working there at all. They price by the pound so one piece of candy may run you as much as $4 or more. If they can get more helpful store associates in the store that have better working attitudes the atmosphere will match the awesome layout...
Read moreThis was an incredible establishment with a lovely atmosphere and even better service. I went to order a two chocolate covered cheesecakes for my coworker and I. I had asked if there was any dark chocolate involved in the chocolate covered cheesecakes and she informed me politely that there was 40% dark chocolate with the standard chocolate they use. I then informed her of my allergy to dark chocolate, and she fully accommodated me with 100% milk chocolate. The customer service was top notch, an incredible...
Read moreI went in today to get my Candy Apple Candy, only to be spoken to like I was 2 years old by, the guy's name was Cary. I understand that what Cindy did when she was there as Manager cannot be done anymore. It's not what you say to the customer's, but how you say it and the tone you use. I go in at least 2 or 3 times a week to purchase candy apple candy. I was introduced to the owner the other week and he was told that I was a loyal customer. Well, I won't be going back. RMCF has lost a loyal...
