I wish they would let me do negative stars because lord. Honestly chili’s used to be such a great place to go to and this one, and the one on W Colonial has just gone down hill, and fast. Every time we go into one the staff, and food isn’t great. Well today I gave them the last chance. When we sat down our server didn’t even tell us her name, and just seemed like being there was the last thing that she wanted to be doing. We put our order in and she at first brought us the wrong cheese for our chips and salsa she corrected it after we asked to speak to a manger which by the way never came. It took about 25 minutes for all three of us to get our fajitas, although the restaurant wasn’t busy at all. My tortillas were cold when I got them, and the food was hot but peppers weren’t chopped up, onion skins (the outside of the onion you peel off before cutting) was in our fajita blend. The rice was hard and in clumps. So when we asked to speak to the manager for the second time he comes out to speak to us in the most unprofessional way. He didn’t even tell us his name just that he was a manager, had his hand on his hip, and was speaking rudely like we were a bother. He could honestly careless that we were upset about our food and our service. My friend asked if there was another manager we could speak to and he told us no then asked why. She told him she didn’t like his attitude and he asked her what it was about his attitude that she didn’t like. She told him she works in the restaurant industry and her manager would never speak to a table like that. He got upset and said well I’ll just take everything off and walked away. He did in fact not take care of anything. Not that we wanted the bill to be taken care of but since he said he was taking everything off we assumed so. Server comes to tell us that he took three of the meals off but the 4$ up charge for swapping the chicken out for steak and drink (2.89$)we still would have to pay for. We never seen the manager again after he was so rude and had his attitude been different things would have went a completely different way. We will NOT be returning to any chili’s anytime soon. Period. It wasn’t until we were leaving we found out our servers name was Jutta, and the managers name was Pierre , if that was even his name because the host was new so she didn’t know completely everything which is...
Read moreMy kids and I visited the Chili’s in Winter Garden on October 17th and had the worst service ever! We have a Chilli’s two minutes from our home but since we frequent the Winter Garden location we choose to drive 25 minutes out. My kids in I would visit Chilli’s at least once a month at their request. The service has always been tremendous until yesterday. We had a server by the name of Beth who was horrible. We had been seated for approximately 10 minutes and the General Manager came over and acknowledged us and told us that our server was finishing up with a table and would be right over. He came back 5-10 minutes later and took our drink and meal order. Shortly after Beth finally came over introduced her self and quickly walked away. Beth never returned to our table to follow up with us on any drink refills nor to see how our food came out. There were other servers who refilled our drinks, brought our food out and condiments. Beth continued to visit other tables beside our table. Once we were finished our food, we set there waiting for approximately 20 minutes patiently. On several occasions Beth looked at our table but never came over to see if we were ready for the check. Beth bust another table right beside ours and proceed to pretend as if we didn’t exist. I finally had enough and walked up to her and asked if she was our sever. She said yes, what is it that you need. I told her at this point we just need our check and you looked at us on several occasions but had yet to acknowledge if there was any need. Another waitress witnessed everything and called the General Manager from the back, she signaled at me to have a conversation with him. I spoke to the GM after we had paid our bill, he apologized for the service and complimented us with a $20 gift card. Which is appreciated but we came to the establishment for great service. If you are going to this location for great service avoid Beth’s section and request...
Read moreThe first visit we had at this Chili's, we had just left another nearby restaurant as we sat at the bar for a long period of time and even though the person kept looking at us could not get them to even approach us. So needless to say we were a bit annoyed already, were in the middle of Christmas shopping so dealing with holiday traffic- not a good way to start. We settled (or so we thought) for eating at Chili's as we thought maybe we could get in quick as we were very hungry. Neither one of us hates Chili's, but have typically had average service and food from our experiences at others. Boy were we in for a surprise. As soon as we walked in our hostess was very friendly, seemed happy we were there and sat us right away. The waitress we had was friendly as well, patient with questions we had and when the food came out it was very good as well. Everyone we went by smiled, said hello and had several say they appreciated us being there. They seemed genuinely happy and happy we were there. We had such a good experience, we came back a week later, and I will say same thought we thought this time it would be good but didn't expect a lot. We have now been back several times since we first came last month in December, and every experience has been the same. We've sat at the bar, in the restaurant area, all over and had different servers and the same consistent experience so far. They do tend to get busy and I can see why. My other half is very picky and she now suggests often that we visit. I will say for this type of chain restaurant we were impressed, and will keep being...
