I just loved this place. This is not a huge restaurant when you look from outside. Might not even give you a great feeling. But, once you get inside, that's when the real magic begins. Ok. So they are situation in the Chagrin Boulevard, opposite to Wendy's, which you may be able to see from the main road. You can use the parking lot outside. The interior decor are very basic, and give you a homely feeling. Although we were not sure how the food would be before we reached there, once inside, we were half confident that the food must be good. Why? Well, simply because we could be several Vietnamese families having dinner there. When native people come in numbers to eat food from back home, that says a lot about the food. The staff were just great. Made us feel at home. This was the first time my friend and I were trying Vietnamese food and hence knew nothing about their cuisine. The staff guided us and helped us zero down on the food. I am posting some pictures of the interior as well as the food we got for ourselves. The food was delivered within proper duration and was simply delicious. We went for vermicelli noodles and the taste was so fresh. The vegetables were very fresh, you could say that easily once you saw it. You may use either a fork or chop-sticks. We went for the chop-sticks. The food was very light. Both of us were feeling pretty full after an extremely heavy lunch and were not sure if we would get the food finished. But both of us did, it was so light and refreshing. And to add to that, the cost is nothing compared to what you would expect it to be. I would say that they are one of the most reasonably priced restaurants in and around Beachwood, Ohio.

Quite impressed with Bowl of Pho! I was skeptical at first when we headed here for dinner, but was pleasantly surprised. Service was friendly and incredibly fast. Restaurant was clean and unexpectedly polished for the strip mall setting. We started with drinks. Him, a Tiger Asian lager. Me, the Asian Pear Cocktail. The beer hit the spot and the cocktail was unique and refreshing. Next was the appetizer. Pork rolls (#15) were delicious and obviously made fresh as the pork was warm but the veggies were cool. He quite enjoyed his pho (the “meat deluxe” #22). I tried it and thought it was quite good, though I prefer the pho broth of other local shops that pack a bit more punch. I order the #33 (bun vermicelli with meat -I chose chicken, shrimp and spring rol). Really enjoyed it. Fresh and the flavor was well-balanced. The sauce had a bit more kick than I expected, but it made it that much more delicious. I only wish I could give this 4.5 stars. It really was a good experience. The pho flavor was a little one note so that’s why I didn’t give it five stars, but it was close.

Everything was SO GOOD. I got the lotus salad with shrimp and the pork rolls with peanut sauce, highly recommend. There was a lot of shrimp and the peanut sauce especially was really good, and the lettuce and all the produce was really fresh (I got food on a Monday night, and I find that sometimes around slow days like Monday and Tuesday, some places let quality slide - I'm happy that wasn't the case here!). My boyfriend got the pho ga and chicken bahn mi and he liked both of those as well. The pho comes with the broth separate and everything else in a container - everything in there seemed really fresh and plentiful, and it means you can customize however you like. I would recommend Bowl of Pho! The prices are good, the food was fresh, and I feel like there's something on the menu for everyone.

This place is near my hotel so after reading the reviews, I decided to give it a try. I eat pho. A lot. I’ve had it in Vietnam, little Saigon in California, Houston, etc. if you’re Vietnamese, this place will disappoint you. Nothing wrong with catering to the primary clientele but the pho was missing the depth of flavor and anise scent. There were no onions and broth was very very light. The rice and pork chop dish was ok but lacked the mo hanh (scallion oil) and the veggies weren’t pickled. The bi cuon was very good. Service during the end of lunch was slow at the bar and I had to flag down a waiter just overall, a pleasant experience in mediocrity.

I had a hard craving for Pho and decided to check this place out. It seemed pretty good from the reviews and it had what I like in a great bowl of pho. Naturally I had high expectations. The service was great, our server was on top of things and had great recommendations since it was our first time. I got a bowl of the brisket pho, my wife got the same. The noodles were perfect, the broth was great. The meat was so fatty and tasted horrible though, it killed the whole experience. The server got my wife a different meat for hers, I trudged through the fat. Not a pleasant experience at all. Pictures are of 3 different pieces of meat.

I’ve been a Pho fan since 1982 and when I relocated from the west coast to Cleveland in 2000 I was surprised that there was not a single Pho place in town. Now you have Pho choices so yesterday I had a cough and congestion and the closest place on the way home was Bowl of Pho. The Pho & Garden Fresh Rolls were very good. The only reason I gave it 4-stars was the pair of metal chop sticks that came with the Pho. I’m pretty good with chop sticks but these metal ones were impossible to use. Had to ask for a fork to get to the noodles and meat ... first time for me ever eating Pho with a fork.
