I walked in and did not know where to order? Found the Kiosk station on my own and people were discussing they are out of Salmon and then someone else said they are out of Turkey? The couple walked out since at that point the only sandwich to order was a cheese Caprese sandwich. The Kiosk was hard to navigate and did not have a scanner for my QR code so I stepped out of the line to try to go on the app. Once I got back to the Kiosk it was a challenge to fight for a space in line because set up is they are in a tiny area on a wall enclosed by a wall and no set line to order one after another. Once I ordered the food it took forever to come even though they had 7 people on and two managers. Speed and sense of urgency was a casual approach and the two managers rushing to make orders instead of coaching employees to assist. I ordered a craft beverage only to find the entire station was out??? See a picture with an employee texting on her phone right next the the unfilled beverage station. She could have been on break but she should have been in an employee break room or at a specific table out of the way of a customer asking about the Craft Beverage Station lack of product that way she does not have to say she is on break and cannot answer the question. The Greek Salad I got had way too much dressing on it and the wrap I had was incorrectly wrapped and both ends opened up and everything fell out. This is a very high end Jewish area where people eat Salmon and expect excellent customer service. Two of the managers one young man with blond hair and one with a pony tail had clipboards sitting in the back of the restaurant. They asked me how it was as I was leaving the restaurant- a table touch would have been nice during my dining experience but that did not happen. I told hem that I will come back when you have Salmon and Turkey and your craft beverage station is filled. They laughed as they must have thought it was a joke. Working for top companies such as Panera Bread, Zoup Eatery , and Brueggers Bagel Bakery as a General Managers for the last 34 years in operations this location better get it together soon as first impressions do count and you only often have one chance to gain a customer for life, Many options in the restaurant business. Quality, Service, and Cleanliness are key indicators to success in the restaurant business and I hope the young mangers here are open to constructive criticism in the future from potential loyal customers and listen to feedback. Word travels fast and catering clients will not settle for this type of disrespect from an establishment. I uploaded photo of the lack of Salmon and Turkey options on the menu as when they are out you cannot order even though the menu says they offer it. Also a picture of the Craft Beverage Station empty with an employee texting on a cell phone. I hope the district training managers and director of operations are able to visit soon to get back on track...
Read moreWent to Chopt’s soft launch opening. Service was wonderful everyone was very friendly and enthusiastic. As a big Chopt fan, I do have a few notes about this location compared to others (primary my experience of Chopt in UES NYC). The topping portions were pretty light, as someone who only gets 4 toppings my salad was 95% lettuce 5% toppings. My other note is that I got it extra chopped but it came out barely chopped, I know for myself and others that is a big appeal to this chain. I assume these are just opening day kinks that will be sorted as the location gets acclimated. Just thought I would offer my thoughts. Fresh ingredients, great & easy spot to...
Read moreStopped in for lunch and ordered the Crispy Chicken Ranch Salad. Great atmosphere and the service was great. They were pretty busy but you could keep track of the status of your order on the screens. Employees were friendly and super helpful.
Salad itself was fresh, great portion. I think my only issues was that it felt like there was barely any dressing on it. I could barely taste it. I had my dressing mixed in. I think I will return and either ask for the dressing on the side or extra dressing. The chicken however was seasoned and the crispy bits were great so that did add a bit of flavor. Would return, a much needed addition for a lunch option...
