I went in here a few days ago during lunch time for 4 sandwiches that I was getting for my family while we were moving my dying grandparents into hospice, so it was already a bad day. I understood I was getting a few things and it was busy, so I was very patient and not upset at all by the wait. I told the guy cutting the bread what I wanted, he had me go to the register. Without anyone saying another word to me, I see someone just start loading stuff onto 3 of the sandwiches before asking me what we wanted on them. I patiently asked if I could tell him what we wanted on our sandwiches. He angrily told me I had already told him what we wanted, I was super taken back by how aggressive he was, and I told him I hadn’t talked to him at all yet. He aggressively removed all the onions that no one wanted off of every sandwich while again letting me know I told him what to put on them before. He was upset and short with me the whole time he helped me and I had to stop him from wrapping them up several times because he wouldn’t let me finish telling him what to put on it before wrapping it up. They then started to have me pay and I had to ask about my 4th sandwich that had never been brought over. They said that it was a warm sandwich and they’d call me when it was ready: at this point I specifically had said I wanted to tell them what to put on it. A few minutes later they come over and bring me a fully wrapped up sandwich in a bag and I was like can I not tell you what veggies to put on it? It wasn’t my sandwich or at this point I probably would have given up and walked away. The manager (?) told me I had needed to tell the bread guy that before hand and it was now too late. I let him know that no one told me that or had asked me about it and he goes “well our regulars just know to tell them there”???? Sir, have you seen me before? Then we know I’m not a regular. But also there can’t be that many regulars to just assume everyone knows that. They were so rude and gave me so much attitude about having to unwrap the sandwich to add the veggies on like they weren’t the ones that made the mistake. All this to then give me the wrong amount of change back, not give me a receipt so I didn’t get my points for the app, SOAKING sandwiches that were swimming in vinegar, and soda that had run out of syrup and was straight soda water. Made my bad day so much worse. So thanks. Hope that those veggie power trips...
Read moreI came in earlier and ordered 2 club subs (1 giant, 1 regular). Was told from the beginning they did not have any ham or white bread, but they could offer the prosciuttini as a substitute for the ham if I was willing to pick a different bread. No big deal in and of itself.
After I had already paid for both sandwiches, I was then told they they also did not have any bacon for the club subs, and that they wouldn't be making more for the day. No real solution or remedy was offered for the triple inconvenience.
I've been a fan of Jersey Mikes for a while, but what's the point of going and ordering a meal if you aren't able to deliver a product that is on your menu? I'm willing to pay more than I would at other places, but not for a half-complete item. Maybe it's time to switch to the Firehouse Subs across the street...
This review has two stars only because the cashier was somewhat nice and apologized for the inconveniences. Niceness won't make me come back if I can't get the subs I have been ordering for over 3...
Read moreThe first two times I went here it was awesome! Both times I got the Philly Cheesesteak and it was delicious, even though all of the cheese was on one side only leaving the other side dry. It tasted so good still and had all of these amazing red and green peppers. It was so good despite being pricey that I decided to take my whole family. We missed going here as you guys close at 9pm (awfully early to close for a food place.). Finally we were able to come during your operating hours. We spent a significant amount of money there for four people, and we all got the Philly cheesesteaks. I was disappointed though to see that when we got home, each sandwich only literally had one or two green peppers and no red peppers. WHERE WERE THE PEPPERS? We definitely missed the flavor of the peppers and felt ripped off. If they were out of peppers they should have told us. Not worth the money that time. Very...
