Food: The Chicken Tendies are on point. They're not 5 stars, but considering how lacking the area was for a simple plate of fresh tenders to go, it's a great fit! Breading has flavor and the tendies were fresh. The Fries were crispy, but a smidge under seasoned. That salt HAS to hit those fries right out the fryer or it won't stick. I'm sure they'll do better as time progresses (ideally). The Slaw... is gross. Just chunks of cabbage and carrots slapped together with the cheapest mayo. You won't find tanginess or flavor here. Didn't even see a speck of black pepper. This is an area they can absolutely do better in. If it's house made, lean towards a tangier mayo based on egg yolks instead of the whole egg or even a vinegar based slaw sauce and don't forget the pepper/Smoked paprika. If it's bought from a wholesaler... get a different supplier. You're wasting money. The Toast is decent. Not the best, not the worst. It's big enough to fit a tender on and consume it like a half hoagie. The Cane's Sauce is a thing of beauty. Get at least 1 extra. They did their homework. The seasoning in the breading perfectly sets the stage for this dip precisely. They're like Wonder Twins throwing a smack down on my villainous taste buds! Last, but not least, The Leprechaun Lemonade is a thing of magic. Not a lot of magic, but enough that I know it's far more quality than the drinks you can get down the block. All their house made drinks are made with Cane Sugar. That's a step in the right direction every restaurant needs to make. Now, it is the opening quarter for this joint, so be easy on the staff. They're hard working and friendly. Let's make sure we don't give em a reason to be otherwise. Order ahead and be patient. It's better to go through the street on the back side of McDonald's or go the other side past the Cane's, A right before Dairy Queen, and you'll see the same road right next to the bank as the main passage is blocked off when traffic gets busy. Last thoughts: This is just a Zaxby's with a little more quality on the tendies, but extremely limited on variety. You come here for tendies, fries and a drink. But hey, that's all we really wanted. All we need now is public...
Read moreUpon immediate discovery of nearby Canes, we decided to support the project of delivering ourselves to such business and venturing through, in exchange for a meal. I, a weary and hunger-full traveler decided to order a meal including strips from a familiar friendly bird we all know and love and fried, french, potatoes. I also took up the idea of requiring a Coke from the loving staff.
Immediately, turning right into the line, I was greeted by a unique appearance of a unlovable formation of cars, and a great one at that. If you are unaware of what formation of cars I am referring to, another word would be a line. This line of such was disastrous, and left shocked and confused expressions on faces of everyone nearby.
So, following the initial introduction of the extreme line, a loving staff member welcomed us, and asked what our hearts truly desired to enjoy and experience from such place of business. We were grateful and excited to engage in such conversation, and willingly provided such order to the staff member I previously described.
After that lovely event took place, we had to wait for our food. This was by far the most horrific event of the whole process. Our minds were lost, our hope shattered, our excitement crushed and flattened by a hammer. The wait was unbearable, and quite frankly exhausting. The motorized vehicles behind us were receiving their meals, but us? We were NOT.
We were scared and unprepared for such waiting times to invoke upon us, leaving us anything but happy. There was a horrible mystery going around regarding the incident of where our food could possibly be!
Finally, and of course, after such long unbearable moments of fear, a loving staff member got to us, revealing the shocking truth of what caused such a tragic situation! They had run out of their frozen cubes of water, which happened to be necessary into our sugary liquids we decided to order.
We received everything, including the relief of having to strikingly wait. Our faces stuffed with food, our hearts restored to the former glory applicable. Our smiles, wide...
Read moreI went to visit raising canes on March 14 with my family. We had been several times to this location after opening and never had any issues this particular day the line was wrapped around the building like normal, but the 2 lines were blocking the entrance to go park in the parking lot, so me and husband, my children parked at McDonaldâs we walked across the security guard told MY HUSBAND do not park there. They are towing cars so heâs told MY HUSBAND to go in the out and park. As my HUSBAND did then proceeded to walk in and as He is walking in one of the security guards who was an older gentleman, started yelling at him and told him he could not do that, and that he needed to leave MY HUSBAND to walk to get the manager to let them know what he just happened. Somehow the security (rent a cop) got to the manager before we could, and told her this elaborate story of how we cannot eat there and blah blah blah so I gathered my children and my husband and we go to leave. In the meantime this rent a cop is sitting here yelling and laughing, saying ha ha ha you will not get to eat here the manager, then proceeded to agree with him and told us we needed to leave. She did not care to hear my story or our side of the part. We get outside of the door then the rent a cop then pulls his taser on my husband who has done nothing absolutely wrong, absolutely unacceptable I had my children standing there and in the meantime, the manager is standing in between the taser, MY HUSBAND, and this gentleman who is now threatening MY HUSBAND with an armed force action. So get the vehicle to leave and another one of their Rent a cop, stop us and apologize of how crazy that that everything just unfolded and that he was the one that told us to park there he gave us the supervisors number then we called them and went to hire up. I just think this is...
