We stayed arrived at approx 12 and was of course as expected unable to check in. As stated in the reviews they did allow us to enter the water park until our room was ready which was great. They said they will notify me via text which I never received when the room was ready. So we proceeded to park and found none so they directed us to the 3 rd parking area way in the back which of course was not ideal if it wasn’t for the amputee gentleman who saw my hotel tag and walked back to the front in the heat to find us actual hotel guest parking. I didn’t catch his name but he was the only worker who seemed to care. So then around 3 I went to the desk just to check if the room was ready and sure enough papers and key right on the desk ready with no call or text. Then we proceeded to the room after reviewing our room which I’m sorry is not worth the price is old and I get the perk is he water park that’s why the high cost. But I’ve been to many resorts and payed half the cost with better customer service and rooms Especially since we had a brown stained toilet seat which I forget to take pictures of, but seriously a toilet seat is 20$ at best and I just gave you $400. I think some attention to detail wouldn’t hurt. Not only no coffee maker or microwave just no over all care for updatin or new clean linens. Well we came for the park to try it agin since the new attraction we came a few years back when it was inflatable slides. So we were excited to see the improvements. That’s double our room rate. So after unpacking we went back to the park to relax and I’m sorry but that’s no water park to relax. I’ve been to kalahari, camelback, kattrite, and great wolf lodge and this can not compare to not one of those parks and not one water side we waited more than 10 min each to get on and rode them multiple times each. Here you did not have enough floats to get on the slides you have to wait ,30+min to get a float then 30+ more to get on. It’s crazy in the heat. Same with the lazy river no floatsto ride. I get you don’t want wall to wall flats for safety, but it seems this is because you are at over capacity. It’s over crowded with luck if you find a chair after 12. At least have VIP fast pass line I payed $400 a night not $40 to enter. So I should get some perks. Seems this place is greedy and just fills the doors with no room to breath or relax worst water park to date!! Trust me try any of the ones I mentioned and they have sale prices on rooms some for $200 way more slides and no lines but organization. An actual resort not an over priced hotel with a water park filled to extreme. With no care at all or customer care even when we went back to the water park the second morning around 930 due to check out by 11 so we packed the car. Then I went back to the room about 1030 is to leave the key and do a last me comb thru but all of a sudden I walked in to 2 ladies cleaning my room like wow I know I was right next to the house keeping storage area and saw me pack doesn’t mean it’s not my room till I leave a key or at check out time. I even forgot my tea and don’t at this point know what else because I was unable to do a final walk thru and check out officially but yet my room wasn’t ready till 3. Like I said no care...

Daily house keeping was prompt and efficient, rooms were clean, and they came back after we left the one morning we slept in and weren't ready for them. Kids (age 5 and 7) liked the inflatable park.. Now for the bad. The whole operation is slipshod.. We arrived a little early and room wasn't ready for check-in at 2:45pm, granted this is ahead of the scheduled check-in time (3pm). Luckily we were able to get our wrist bands and visit the park. Came back about half an hour later (after check in time) and the room was still not ready. The desk clerk couldn't tell us when it might be ready and was rude about it (said we just asked "two minutes ago"). We went to dinner instead with our car still overflowing with luggage. Parking for the hotel is shared with the inflatable park with no spots reserved for hotel guests (walks to/from your car in the back lot until the park closes at night). Hotel/park staff consisted largely of foreign teenagers who struggled just to tell toddlers to take turns on the inflatables. One was asleep in their chair next to a slide, so even though our kids enjoyed it we felt like we had to hover over them the entire time. Breakfast was just a cereal bar and prepackaged muffins, with juice and coffee. Compared to the other negatives this is almost positive though. Traffic was hellacious in the area, good luck if you want to take a left out of their driveway, and the yarmouth police department is apparently much closer than it looks on a map. Sirens were frequent at night as were thumps coming from the second floor (no noise dampening). There's no freezer in the mini fridge to refreeze ice-packs for coolers, which is big when the beaches are nearby. The A/C although programmable for temperature seemed to turn on/off whenever it felt like it. WiFi was decent (we streamed game of thrones) but disappeared on our last night/into checkout day. Advertised bundles/deals (inflatable park/kids eat free with adults) may or may not be honored, it's apparently at their whim. We even called them while booking to double check that we could still get the promotional deals despite booking through a third party service (booking.(com) and somehow I still ended up spending part of my vacation arguing through two rude employees (including a supervisor Julie/Julia?). She said "I'm not saying your a liar but.." and when I flat out asked if she was willing to do anything to help she responded with, not joking: "No.". After finally threatening to dispute the charges on my card they called the owner who finally agreed to honor what we were told during our initial call, but at that point the damage was done. My entire family (two adults + two children) also contracted some kind of ear infection from the hot-tub/indoor pool on the last night of our stay.. But that's the risk of hot-tubs and not entirely on them.
I really just hope they escalate some of our concerns, because the facilities are there for this to be a worthwhile place, but it seems the customer...
Read moreI’m giving a two stars for many reasons. First off I would like to say the place is great. Rented a cabana it was convenient for the kids to go back and relax, eat and drink. The water park was great lots to do and very fun. The downside was lack of cleanliness I would not recommend coming here while Covid is still around. I read on the website about how they were going to clean, have sanitary stations, spray children’s hands before and after rides. I did not see one person cleaning. Not one person wiped down a railing or equipment the entire 6/7 hours we were there and I made sure I was observant of this. The lazy river tubes were not once wiped or cleaned when a couple of days before hand a guest told me they were doing so. One of the major lack of cleanliness I saw was when there was poop all smeared down a toddler water slide. No one noticed at all and when I finally told someone I was the one telling kids not to go down because a lifeguard that was supposed to be blocking off the slide was accidentally letting multiple kids go down the slide that had poop on it. If that wasn’t bad enough the way they cleaned it was took a facecloth NO SANITATION at all and wiped until it went away. They sprayed the water hard out of the top of the slide and that’s it! I was mortified and thankfully it was close to closing time because that’s when I had enough and needed to leave. Now to leave the uncleanliness behind and talk about staff. Our waitress (wish I caught her name) was amazing very kind checked in often when we were in the cabana. The lifeguards... not so great. Don’t get me wrong some were very tentative and kind, but half were leaning on their post almost looked half asleep, watching children run and leap onto the red and white water slide, not regulating distancing or order at all. At one point we were over where you get across the water with ropes and inflatable objects and a little boy fell in (not drowning) but holding onto the lobster float because he couldn’t swim. The lifeguard put her red life saving device in the water dragged him over and lifted him up she immediately was VERY angry balling her first stomping her feet and repeatedly punching her hand over and over because she had to “save” this boy. She didn’t bend over or even have to get in the water but she was visibly and physically VERY angry and made my family and I very uncomfortable. Unfortunately we will not be returning for a long time and I urge those not to visit during Covid. As I read online I thought it would be a fun and sanitary spot for my family, but The cleanliness lacked immensely especially...
