First off, a portion of the good reviews are likely fake as they were written close together by accounts that one made 1-2 of the other related businesses. So utterly disappointed in this place. We came in last night for last day in Hanoi. Our server did not even check in on us and never brought silverware until asked, but that was the least of the offenses. The food tasted like it has been sitting out for a while: stale and cold. The soup and the meatballs were both cold. The croquettes and the other tapa were also lukewarm and the bread was stale and not crispy. All tasted like they had not been properly prepared or stored before serving. The crab noodles were the only thing that came out hot or looked made to order, which is the food I ate. Everything else we ate was shared throughout the day, so I know for sure the tapas here made the difference because they did not taste fresh at all. They left most of the dishes unfinished, but what they did eat was enough to turn their day upside down the next day, which is usually when the signs of food poisoning normally start. My poor friends who ate the cold dishes got HORRIBLE food poisoning the following day. They were both unbelievable sick during flight, which I cannot begin to explain how awful that is to be sick during a 3 hour plan ride. One of them had to go in wheelchair to baggage claim because she was throwing up so much and became dizzy, so she couldn’t walk. They were both on the floor at the hotel at the next destination. Avoid this place at all costs!!! Atmosphere is nice, but they obviously spent so much money on ambience that food safety and quality went out the door. My friend, Lauren, paid, but we also plan to make sure we file a dispute with the credit card company for a refund. Expensive...

The café is right next to St. Joseph’s Cathedral, one of the busiest corners of the city, where locals and tourists are constantly passing by. Yet the moment you step inside, all the noise fades away. What remains is the gentle rustle of leaves, the distant sound of church bells, and the soft aroma of coffee floating in the sunlight.
From the flower-lined balcony, looking out at the weathered roof tiles and the old cathedral clock, there’s a sense of quiet nostalgia. Time seems to slow down here. It’s not a place to talk much — it’s a place to listen to Hanoi breathe — slowly, deeply, and...
