Had a really poor quality meal here 5th November. No English spoken unfortunately however ordered up our beef stir fry. Beautifully presented however the beef was like rubber and chewing through it was impossible. We highlighted this to the server who couldn’t understand and then tried a translate app on our phones and he eventually took away the meal. No alternative was offered and when we asked to pay for our drinks were presented with the complete bill for the inedible food. A staff member arrived who spoke English and insisted we paid for it despite it being a tasteless dish which neither of us could eat. She explained to us that this was a Vietnamese beef which is a big chewier and that’s what we would get in Vietnam. It was clearly poor quality. I had a very disappointing experience at Luc Thuy Restaurant. After paying my bill, the staff came back with a higher amount, demanding more money without any clear explanation. Instead of properly communicating, they just talked loudly among themselves, completely ignoring me. It was an embarrassing and uncomfortable situation, making me feel like I hadn't paid at all.

The hospitality was terrible, and the staff's behavior was unprofessional. They showed no concern for customer experience, and their lack of transparency with billing felt shady.
