Have been a customer of this traditional Vietnamese restaurant for more than ten years and not a lot has changed since my first visit apart from a tailor shop which recently moved inside the house. The main advantage of this place is the perfect location on a crossroad beside the busy cloth market and main market with several gold shops across the road and a bridge to the nearby island on the other side. Sitting outside with a cold beer or a coffee for people and traffic watching never gets boring and you can enjoy at the same time some of the Vietnamese dishes offered for very reasonable prices. The owner is a very friendly person and it's no surprise that you always see a lot of regular customers patronising this restaurant. Returning and seeing that Thy has also set up a tailoring business, but kept the cafe running made me so happy! I sat down and the street was buzzing with activity. My wife and I came here our third day in Hoi An and have come back almost every day since (almost a month)! The Pork Noodle Soup and Wontons are our favorites, but everything here is good. Try to guess the secret ingredients in the soup, you’ll never be able to top it at home with the same ingredients; guaranteed! Tauy (owner) is a wizard!
