Hoi An Old Town Residence — Hotel in Hội An

The room and courtyard were nice and clean. Breakfast was good. Located right beside where the morning market is and close to everything in the old town but quiet and peaceful once inside. Downsides were our room did not have a window and our door opened right onto the cafe area so it did not feel very private. We felt 5 nights was too much as it is very touristy in the old town. We did however have an issue with our reservation which we made on Agoda. We messaged the property on WhatsApp the night before our check in to ask if we could drop bags off in the morning as our overnight bus was due in early. The owner called and told me he could not find our booking. After a lot of back and forth with Agoda and the owner, Agoda agreed to refund our non-refundable booking and the property had a room available for us for 5 nights despite the owner also saying they were full until the end of the month. It felt a bit off. Now see a couple of reviews saying the same thing happened to them. Suggest the hotel fixes the ‘issue’ here to avoid further...

I spent 3 nights between Christmas and New Year with my wife, 2 teenage kids, and 84-year-old mother. I'd never stayed here before but I knew the street as one of the prettiest and quietest in Hoi An, right next to the old town, and most of the larger hotels were fully booked. The 5 rooms are clean and comfortable, the manager Huy super helpful, limited options for breakfast but given the plethora of nearby cafes, not an issue. Location outstanding. First of all sun was amazing, he was so helpful and kind, constantly had a smile on his face, helped me get a stain out of my skirt, definitely made the stay in hoi an even better than it already was, the room was very spacious and clean, they offer cooking classes, coffee class, bike rent so everything you need is right there, the location was just perfect, everything you need is within a 10 minute walk, night market just up the road, I definitely would recommend staying here if you are...
