Shockingly rude and unhelpful staff

A friend and I both had lunch at their restaurant and bought around a dozen things from their shop downstairs. However just after making the purchase, I requested the staff if l could exchange a certain item for another colour and design, priced exactly the same from the same category— the packaging all intact, of course. I was really hoping to get some help. She said she won’t be able to do it herself but her colleague might be able to help so she asked me to come back later in the afternoon.

I had a flight that evening but since it was a gift for my mother, I travelled back to the shop from another part of the city just to make the same request again but was shocked to see that colleague’s attitude— extremely curt and unhelpful, cutting me off mid-sentence, not even ready to have a conversation. It was such a simple request! She simply said “I can’t change”, without sharing the reasons or making any attempts to help and ended the communication.

I think that was very very rude. I hated the fact that we bought so much from them or stopped by for food when they cannot accommodate such...

FeFe Roastery in Hoi An is a must-visit for coffee and food lovers alike. We tried a variety of drinks, including the egg coffee, flat white, espresso, and black coffee, and each one was exceptional. The coffee here is truly next level—rich, smooth, and expertly crafted, with bold flavors that showcase their dedication to quality and roasting expertise.

The food was equally impressive. We ordered the French toast and avocado toast, and both dishes were beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The avocado toast was fresh and flavorful, with perfectly ripe avocado and a great balance of toppings. The French toast was delicious!

The ambiance at FeFe Roastery is warm and inviting, making it an ideal spot to relax and enjoy your meal. The staff was friendly and attentive, further enhancing the overall experience. Whether you're a coffee aficionado or just someone looking for a fantastic brunch spot, FeFe Roastery delivers on all fronts. We left thoroughly impressed and can’t wait to return. Highly...

We came to Fefe Roastery for lunch as a group of four. We ordered food along with one NEIPA beer, one saison beer, one mango juice, and one strawberry juice - all prepaid with the waitress.

When the drinks arrived, there was an extra saison beer. We politely let the waitress know we didn’t order it, as there were only four of us. We asked if we could switch it for a neipa since it was already paid for. She said no, that we had to take the saison because it had been rung up.

We then asked to speak with the manager. A few minutes later, the waitress returned with a 75,000 VND refund instead of the beer swap. She seemed visibly tearful, which made us genuinely concerned that she may have been reprimanded for the situation- something we never intended.

We hope the owner or management sees this and reconsiders their approach. A bit more flexibility and kindness, both to customers and staff, would go a long way in improving the experience.

Definitely...

The cafe is located within the same building as the Artbook bookstore. It offers a haven of peace and quiet on its airy second floor. Whether you are catching up with friends, working on a project, or simply seeking a moment of relaxation, the ambiance is perfect for any occasion. Choose to soak in the ancient town life from the balcony overlooking the bustling street below, or find a cosy spot near the extensive bookshelf lining the wall. While the current selection of English books leans towards limited topics, it is a delightful perk for bibliophiles. For those seeking low-caffeine options, the "Hat De Mua He" is recommended. Orders are taken at the table, and payment is made upon selecting your dish or drink.

A very beautiful but also very expensive place if you are here for drinking and eating. We were there in order to learn more about the Vietnamese coffee and try different blends. This is kind of difficult because they don't offer "tasting cups" and a normal black coffee costs 50k. Before buying beans we could taste the specific blend for free though. So it was very tiring and sometimes impossible to have a conversation or ask questions. Which was really a pity. Apart from that it's a very interesting place and you see a lot of the roasting and preparation process. They have theire own farms and sell different blends, all from Vietnam. They also offer a coffee "tour" which takes about 1 hour and costs 290k.
