When considering a visit to this restaurant, I strongly urge you to be cautious, especially if you are a tourist.

During our experience, the ladies boss charged us extra under the pretense of providing larger portions, but she did not inform us of this change beforehand. When we requested to see the bill, we were surprised to find extra charges for dishes we order and also the pho noodles, despite we only ordering one bowl. To make matters worse, the menu listed the bah mi at VND 30,000, yet she raised the price to VND 40,000 right in front of us.

I advise you to thoroughly check the prices before placing your order. While we are open to paying extra for quality food, we found it unjustifiable here. The dishes were overly salty, and the beancurd chicken rice contained hard, stale beancurd that was difficult to chew. Protect yourself and...

Okay I really was hoping that me being overcharged for the Banh Mi was a one-off thing and let it go but after reading the reviews, sadly it is not so. I bought just banh mi from this place and I liked it (I do not know enough to differentiate between a good and an average one). The lady did ask me if I wanted any modification like with/out coriander, chilli sauce etc. She charged me 40,000 VND for banh mi and when I pointed out that the menu says 30,000 VND she said she will put more filling in it or make it special for me. I rarely write any reviews but the absolute sincerity and warm-hearted nature of service and hospitality of the lady owner (in the picture) moved me.

The food was all freshly prepared and piping hot, cooked with the utmost hygiene and care.

I have seldom seen restaurants run with such passion for the craft and who are in it for the pure joy of serving food!

The restaurant was also very clean and welcoming.

The food - all vegan - as it's an all vegan restaurant, was very tasty and flavourful with the right spicing - the eggplant dish was worthy of a special mention.

It was lovely to see the joy and satisfaction the lady derived from seeing our enjoyment of her food. 10/10 for her passion and dedication!

If I am ever in Hoi An, I will run back to this place for another...
