86 Pho Tay — Restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City

I am literally sitting at this place as we speak and they tried to scam us. The price advertised and the actual price is different. And we realised they have at least two different menus - one with a lower price which you get when they seat you, and another one they carry around when you ask to see the menu to prove your point. We've asked them to correct the bill twice now and both times they just ignore and delay giving the amended bill. We're still waiting for the bill right now. Seriously, go elsewhere. This place is a massive scam.

UPDATE: After much persistence and me taking my calculator out and asking for a receipt, they finally gave us the right bill. They know they're running a scam and hoping you're too wasted to notice the bill. Since we caught them out, we haven't received any service at all. None of them bothered to even look at us. Oh, also, be aware they have a 15% markup on prices which they don't advertise.

To the owners of this establishment: this is no way to keep a customer base. I'm definitely gonna tell my friends to stay away from this...

DONT GO THERE: WE GOT DRUGGED!

My boys and me went for a night out and stopped at the place to get some drinks. Even though they try to lure you with the happy hour: 3 beers for the price of two, the beer is still pretty expensive for Vietnam standards. They also offer balloons filled with laughing gas, a pretty popular party drug here in Vietnam and in hindsight we know that we only got a balloon filled with hot air. After the balloon we had another beer and after that point we all lost our memory. Next thing we know is how we woke up, thankfully in our apartment, with one of the worst hangovers of our lives. I'm aware that we were quite tipsy already and that alcohol can make you black out, but we really lost all memory and they definitely put roofies in our drinks. This behavior fits the strange and unfriendly behavior of the staff. And I'm not surprised by the other bad reviews here. Again: DONT...
