The food was so disappointing that I regretted walking into this restaurant. The service could have been better; there were many dishes we had already finished, but they left them on our table. The atmosphere was okay, and the decorations were nice.
Food: • Vit Quay Bac Kinh: 8/10. I asked them if they could remove all the bones, and they said yes. In the end, none of the bones were removed. • Bong Bong Ca Xao Cai: 9/10. This is a good dish. • Tom Chien Sot Mayonnaise: 8/10. A bit too sweet; adding something sour like lemon will improve the taste. • Dau Hu Rang Muoi Tieu: 1/10. It was labeled as Salt and Pepper (Muối Tiêu), but it was tasteless; I think it was just some normal tofu without seasoning. • Com Chien Xanh So Diep: 8.5/10. I need to add more soy sauce to make it delicious, but I still like it though. • Banh Bao Trung Muoi: 10/10. No need to say anything about it • Banh Cuon Hap Tom: 0/10. This dish received a 2-star rating due to overcooked/burned portions. Very Unacceptable. • Mi Tuoi HK Hoanh Thanh Tom (Nuoc): 6.5/10. Nothing special about it.
In conclusion, this was both my first and last time dining at this restaurant. The experience was disappointing enough that I have no intention of returning. I’ve visited many Chinese restaurants in Saigon, and I recommend trying some in District 5, like Van Hoa Restaurant, or in District 7, such as Golden Jade, which is...
Read moreBad service and unfriendly staff
This was unpleasant experience I recently had at Dim Tu Tac Saigon Center. On my first visit, I observed a lack of consideration and respect from the staff towards individuals with disabilities. In particular, I witnessed Ms. Cherry and Gigi displaying unfriendly behavior towards people on crutches due to leg injuries. As a customer, I was disheartened to see that those in need of assistance were overlooked and disregarded.
Furthermore, when I approached the reception desk to book a table, I was ignored, while the staff promptly attended to others who arrived after me. This lack of equal treatment was concerning and does not reflect the level of service expected from a reputable establishment like Dim Tu Tac.
I believe that every customer should receive fair and respectful treatment regardless of their physical condition. It is disappointing to hear that my friend from the USA also had a negative experience with the service provided by Dim Tu Tac Saigon Center.
I hope that this matter will be addressed with the utmost seriousness to ensure that all customers receive equal and courteous treatment.
On the other hand, pls take a look and learn the way how Crystal Jade assists their guest with all warm welcome and always assist...

Món ăn/Dishes: • Stewed Beancurd with Seafood in Casserole – Thố Đậu Hủ Hải Sản • Rice Rolls with BBQ Honey Glazed Pork – Bánh Cuốn Hấp Xá Xíu • Steamed “Shanghai” Dumpling (Xiao Long Bao) – Bánh Bao Thượng Hải • Shrimps Dumpling Noodle Soup – Mì tươi HK Sủi Cảo • “Shanghai” Pork Wonton Soup – Hoành Thánh Thượng Hải
Dim Tu Tac is one of the best places for dimsum, and it is definitely live up to its reputation. Not only you can get traditional or dimsum that you are familiar with, there are also a lot of options where you haven’t heard, and is hard to find somewhere else, even other dishes other than dimsum. My favorite here has to be Xiao Long Bao, it is Dumpling with pork and broth inside, so when you have a bite, you can taste both the broth and the meat. Be careful when you try to pick it up from the tray because the outer layer is thin, and if that is broken the broth will leak out. Also wait or bit for it to cool down as the broth can be super hot. My next favorite one is Seafood is Casserole, the seafood is fresh, they give up big pieces but they are not hard to eat at all, and the tofu and vegetables are a nice addition. Overall all of the dumplings here tastes amazing, they are what you expected. For dishes that have soy sauce like the rolls, the sauce is perfectly mixed as they are not too salty but everything works together really nice. The meat are nicely stuffed, I am surprised by how much meat they give. Soups and noodles are also really good with tender meat and handmade noodles. They sometimes have seasonal menu which is totally worth a try! Price here is a bit high but with the quality of the food speaks for that. One thing that I am not totally satisfied with is I reserved a table for 4, when we got there they placed us in a table, but one employee came and said the system did not have my reservation on it and we had to standup and wait which I think is kind of embarrassing, they could give us some chairs while they sort things out. And, if you can try to reserve a table before because the place is always busy...
