Saiko Sushi — Restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City

I rarely had a bad experience of having sashimi in HCMc’s jappanese restaurant but Saiko has officially given me one. The seafood is not fresh. I even taste the icing when i eat the tuna sashimi… when it is fully melted, the sashimi just tastes like it has gone bad and cant hold it together…

Other food: seasoning is not balanced, the beef in both salad and the hotpot is too salty to our liking.

Service: slow. But the servers are nice and accommodating.

Never seen any sushi shop provides such big portion 😂 
Our last lunch in Ho Chi Minh City, then we went to the airport flying back to singapore.

Prices wasn’t expensive, I think each meal set was around $15? And that’s enough for 1 person, actually, couldn’t finish a whole meal set 😂

But the restaurant setup, the rooms, and the beautiful cherry blossoms 🌸 in the middle, gosh, I would eat here...

The atmosphere and interior design is better than the food I'd say. Starters were good, sushi were average, welcoming staff who speaks English. One thing ⁰that negatively surprised me - there are no paper tissues on the table, so they give you wet wipes, and then in the end they charge you for them 3k each. It's literally pennies, so why have this additional friction for guests, why not just give them for free? Or give paper tissues? Never seen this before in my life, very...
