24 Restaurant - Vietnamese food & Vegan — Restaurant in Sa Pa Ward

Was here a few days ago. Firstly, the service was really bad, we had to wait very long to order our food. Then had to wait even longer for the food to come. We ordered two burgers. What did we receive? A roll with small strips of chicken and bacon on it and a tiny portion of chips (a sandwich). This was supposedly a burger. Now I wouldn't have had such a problem with it usually but I was already hungry and tired for waiting so long and then they expect me to eat a chicken sandwich when I ordered a burger and still pay 90k. So we decided to leave. Now, I would not have written this bad review if it wasn't for the fact that the next day when we were leaving our hotel which was next door to this restaurant they (the owner and family) took a video of us and were laughing and talking in Vietnamese. They came up behind me and I guess were mocking in Vietnamese while taking a video. I'm not sure because I didn't care too much to give it attention. I find this firstly very childish behaviour for adults but also very unprofessional behaviour for businesses owners. When we said we were dissatisfied with what we were given they didn't give us another option so we decided to leave. So it's very childish and unprofessional for them to try to intimidate us by taking videos of us and laughing. I suggest you save yourself the energy and go somewhere else. Nothing special, family run restaurant that needs to remove father from cooking and get on the ball. Many People in the north really don’t cook well. My wife’s dry noodles were soggy and my hamburger was a disaster that they cooked at the last minute and then way too long and this included grilling the bun too long. It didn’t help that at the busy hour of 6:45PM the mother and 3-4 children were sitting down and eating dinner !! Their table the largest and right within the customer eating area. The family should have eaten at 4:30 or 5:00. Or not all at the same time. Granted they stopped to attend to business but they were caught with their pants down due to tonight’s influx of customers arriving. My wife found plastic in her smoothie twice while drinking it. Sad they obviously. couldn’t handle the 10-14 customers that arrived this evening all within an hours time. I don’t want anyone losing business here in Vietnam that is a local family but they need a kick in the pants to improve in many areas which will help them in...

Went for soup twice as so delicious and good value. Also had potatoes with mushrooms the first time but they were just chips, not potatoes. The reason for the low score was because of the utterly miserable girl with long dark hair and a denim jacket serving. Looked such an effort to serve you, didn't smile or say much at all. In fact she sauntered over bit was looking elsewhere, like she didn't want to look at us. We thought she may have just been having a bad day so returned but worse than ever today. There were 6 people and 3 staff. One poor girl dashing about. My ginger tea never came after 15 mins so asked misery guts and she said 5 mins. After 5 mins i cancelled it and just had soup.
