I feel compelled to leave a review because the ratings just doesnt reflect the reality of things for this restaurant.

Firstly, food is definitely not good here. The BBQ, even when it is marinated, is bland and hard and chewy (i ordered pork and chicken and beef).

I also ordered chicken fried rice - and once again, it is bland, especially the chicken.

I also ordered stir fried vegetables with garlic, vegetables are very soggy and garlic overcooked and mushy.

I did not finish my food.

So in conclusion, i suspect there are tonnes of fake reviews for those highly rated restaurants here in Sapa because after a few days here, i can see that its all about hardselling and earning tourism money here rather than actually providing a good product and really showcasing the culture here. I keep seeing tourists being swarmed and pestered to buy things and i also see little girls being made to dress in traditional clothing to dance for tourists.

Dont come to Sapa for the food, not especially to joints like this that sells tasteless food but strangely has high...

My partner and I had bbq and the salmon soup. We don’t understand the raving review, the meat didn’t taste fresh, it was often dry and the seasoning was ok. The vegetables were not seasoned at all. The bowl of salmon soup was the size of a small rice bowl, it had crumbs (not even pieces) of salmon here and there… it was very disappointing and it cost 95000 dong which felt like a rip off. Our bill came out to be 635000 for 2, which seemed way overpriced for the quality we got. You can eat much better at other places so definitely would not...
