A comedy of errors sums our experience up. My friend order three starters as mains, and I ordered the Sapa salmon with pepper sauce and fried noodles, And we let the waiter know that the starters was his main. The three starters all come out. I then proceeded to wait approx 40mins after that until mine came out. My Friend had finished his, and I even had to follow up with the waiter. Mine eventually came and it was the wrong one. It had passionfruit and it was the other salmon option. I'm not a fan of passionfruit. So I took it back and said it was the wrong one and they agree and took it back to the kitchen and it came out about a minute later with cold noodles and the same dish with passionfruit. After waiting 40mins already and sending it back once before, I decided to eat it as it took too long, and they were making out like I was a pain.
Then halfway through eating mine, one of the dishes that my friend had ordered and already eaten came again which we let them know and it went back. Then, when I went to pay for it, I told him what I had ordered and the fact it still had passionfruit on it. I checked the receipt and exactly what I'd ordered was on the receipt (as they digitally took the order). I made a point about it, which I was told that it was the kitchens mistake and not the waiting staffs problem. I would have totally been fine with just that meal being wiped off the bill (as it was the wrong one and in order to remedy it another would have had to have been made) Instead I was first told he would do a lousy 10% of my meal, as it was the kitchens mistake and I have to pay for their mistake. Then he said he would do 10% of the entire bill which was around 90,000 which still is a joke as the meal was 295,000. Really really...
Read moreUpon entering the restaurant we asked if it's real food because the menu looked good, all the reviews are fake or people are plain stupid. We ordered 3 chicken dishes and they brought us duck , thinking that we wouldn't know, I've lived in Vietnam 6 years and been to sapa many times, my girlfriend is also Vietnamese, they assured the Bun Cha was legit sapa Bun Cha but they'd cooked the meat in a microwave and was so bad it was sent back after one bite, this is honestly the worst food we have ever eaten in Sapa. Please don't look at the reviews, they finesse people I to giving them 5 stars and the rest are fake. The price was insane 230k for a chicken leg that was duck and small bowl of rice, fire your chef or close your restaurant. It's an absolute joke of a place. Do not eat here, take it from someone that's been here for many years . Absolute scam of...
Read moreMy girlfriend and I came to the restaurant because of good reviews. We always check the reviews from the european guests, not just local people. From the outside it looked very nice, from the inside even better. Due to location its a bit empty sometimes, but the service was great. All the staff speaks english. We ordered garlic bread, which was great. The main course was salmon in passion sauce, vegetables and mesh potatoes and grilled beef with boiled vegetables, sticky rice and chilli. The food was amazing. We have been in Vietnam for 14 days now and this was the best meal we had anywhere. The taste and seasoning was perfect, meat melt like butter in the mouth and the flame bananas with icecream were a perfect desert. I would give this place 6/5 but only 5/5 is possible. If you are in Sapa, dont...
