Amazing food, friendly service, underrated. Even though the food is great, there isn't much customers which was why I hope that this review will help more people choose to patrionise them.
Black chicken hotpot comes with a decent amount of meat and a heap of vegetable. The black chicken was tender and not tough as compared to some places. They gave chilli padi with soya sauce which was perfect to dip the chicken(singaporeans).
The soup is refreshingly clear, a little sour and hint of spiciness. The closest taste I would say is a light tom yum soup that gets abit sweet with the vegetables.
It comes with pho noodle which was perfect with the soup. It ends up being a free flow hotpot pho.
The grilled pork on skewer was decent and well seasoned, a little dry but still good.
The western food was honestly better than excepted. We ate a nearby Italian store that sells the same food at triple the price. However we found this restaurant's western food equally if not better, at better value.
Drinks were good, they even gave us an off menu item because we wanted honey lemon tea.
All in all amazing food, friendly staff and would come back again if I had the chance. Hope you would...
Read moreI visited Chapa Hills for dinner 3 times during my Sapa visit and they were all delicious. I selected the restaurant based on Google reviews of restaurants near my hotel. The inside of the restaurant is very clean and tidy with a simple layout and decorated appropriately with Sapa items and photos. The northwest Vietnam cuisine selection was excellent. I recommend the hot plate grilled sturgeon or chicken (other meats also available on the menu) and stir fried sapa chayote (susu) with garlic. The prices were very reasonable for food and drinks compared to other restaurants in sapa. The owners were really nice, helpful, and accommodating. Being my first time visiting Northwestern Vietnam, I wanted to try many of the local cuisine. I left really satisfied. Of the many restaurants that I tried in sapa, I would highly recommend...
Read moreI came here for lunch on a Monday afternoon and the place was less than half full. The ambience is awesome, with local Hmong embroidery hanging on the walls. They have cauldrons of hot coals and sand to warm up your hands as well. I had fresh ginger tea with honey. They gave me a big mug of it and it was really good. I had a couple of their local recommendations: grilled horse meat on hot plate and grilled deer with honey, both of which were served with sticky rice. To be honest, both of them tasted almost the same and were a bit underwhelming. However, they were not bad in the slightest. The service is great and the prices are...
